I hate the fact that 50% of the cake is fondant
50 percent? try 90, fondant tastes awful, it's like eating playdough, it's only for looks. always make a cake with frosting...unless you are diabetic or borderline.......then i would go with fondant or butter-cream as they do not have as much sugar in them.
