He put his other finger in and did a quick back-and-forth motion on the trigger to initiate a rapid fire with a pistol. It was done intentionally, so it does not look like a professional hit. Basically, it is to simulate a cartel hit, amateurishly, on a member of another cartel.
i think you would call that bump firing... using the recoil of the previous shot to fire the next one. it is kinda silly-looking tho
The intention is to make the kill look sloppy and unprofessional like a cartel hit. Not some trained CIA stuff. He does this on top of his personal rage as another reason

Acts all tough for these scenes then just completely breaks down and becomes an utter liability the rest of the entire movie.
She's literally a child. This was a school fight, the later scenes have her surrounded by men killing eachother with automatic rifles.
