Hated the ending in 2 but there is talks of 3 coming. They need to bring back the director from the first one.
The third edition is long overdue. It will kill it in theaters number one guaranteed.
I don't expect Hollywood will tolerate a movie like this being produced or released until 2025.

Third episodes don't tend to do as well as the first and second ones (like the Godfather).

first was amazing and this one tried real hard but didn't understand the spirit of the first and that's what it was a meh movie with a couple cool scenes.

There's rumors of a third Sicario movie. Frankly a Matt Graver, Alejandro, Steve Forsing movie would be great all on it's own, they are such great characters.

The bit with the picket fence and the fact his face has a bullet hole in it, feels like a massive nod to the Coen brothers, which this movie as awesome as it is would not exist without No Country
Between his Marvel characters and this one, Josh Brolin is doing some great acting roles these past years.
You should watch him in No country and American gangster, he’s great in those films.

The actor with glasses really existed, he was a very smart and professional CIA agent. He took part in military operations in many places. In other videos they talked about him, not that it was secret, but simply that he retired and really existed. He was really cool and professional.

Pretty nice newly paved roads for a brutal scenery. Construction crew just got done with the pavement before this scene was shot.

I keep hearing a Sicario/Soldado 3 is in the works. All of these characters can be developed further into some unique story lines that parallel this series or into it. I think even a prequel would be worth seeing.
Both movies were fantastic, but this one was the best.

I'm starting to get a little tired of the violence and seeing these guys with permanent angry faces.
I do feel sympathy for the people who're dragged into gangs and cartels to try to survive. I do. I say this from a very VERY privileged point of view. I won't EVER have to deal with this.
But this is a truth of life that all people, men, women, and children need to accept and understand.
You always have a choice. Sometimes that choice is death. But it is a choice.

But when you're standing in the back of a truck, being executed by the guys who are fighting to make other people's lives better, because you chose to join the gang instead of fight back, you only have YOURSELF to blame. YOU made the choice. This isn't a judgment. It's just reality.
The people who're inundated and controlled by ruthless gangs made a choice to let them operate. If the people stood up, and risked death, they would win. It would require the ultimate sacrifice, but they'd win.
I pray I never have to make that choice, for I fear I too may be a coward. But every day you choose not to fight back, you're choosing to be a coward. That goes for all of us, in every fight.
