Holding hill on a few battle maps is a must. Its generally dependant on the line up as you mentioned, but that is if the enemy have the knowledge to force it. If you have good gun depression, good mobility, you can easily control the map from that higher elevation point. Easier to spot the enemy, whilst they have a harder task penetrating angled hulls upwards, rather than looking down on their flattened armour..A good post showing a valid point for all. 👍

If you have to play light tanks the French are OK. A bit hit and miss. It’s the weak armour of the heavies that I don’t like. They’re effectively mediums which large chassis.

    Really enjoying your content.
Question...if you're the REDS and you're in that Griile or Ho-Ri, what to do? Your meds/lights haven't gone hill, you're essentially blind...just chalk it up as a loss and move on? Crash town with the rest of the numpties? Try...futile as it may be...to push hill?

      Thank you so much! 🙏🏼
That was a tough one.. I think the Grille positioned himself for the generic hill support, based on his initial position, if I were that player, I would have repositioned as fast and safe as possible. As you say, there is no-one spotting hill.. maybe push hill once he sees the E5 moving back, so he could pressure me..
Mid/late game he went towards island, maybe to pressure the E1, but he had no support and could not support his team either. (Go to team..)
If I were the Ho-Ri (who also set up for hill support, I would have gone frontline faster. He had no targets from where he sat, except me on hill, E5 moving back towards our spawn, so Ho-Ri spawn sniping when his team had already crossed the cap line (top right corner) didn’t do much..
It would most likely have been a loss anyway..
But you are absolutely right, if you anticipate that your team does “the right thing” and they don’t, how do you play your role then.. tough nut to crack sometimes..
