Well good bass is great, but I find your other speakers are way to small for the extra bass you like.
Fellow enthusiasts here spending to much time and money on Home Theatre and just went to dual SVS PB3000 - dialing them in with REW and calibrated mic etc.. Got to your channel by random and wondered about your voice seemed familiar? Then i realised that you also are the man behind TwoWheelObsession and during my BMW k1600GT period watched your review about 2625 times!
You are a master of conveying and detailing quality hardware in general and we seem to be enjoying the same quality stuff! Thanks for your down to earth and understandable real life way of getting quality content out there for us to enjoy:-)
The trick is to get that kind of powerful slam with only sealed subs when watching movies. I very much prefer sealed subs over ported especially for music listening. Personal preference is all. Nice video.
Yep I prefer them too. Currently running dual sb16
I have two PB12 NSDs (not coupled) in my system, and I cannot imagine ever needing to "upgrade." Even using just one of them is really good. There is, for every category of audio component, a point of diminishing returns where the performance-for-the-money curve drops off sharply. For me, the PB12 NSD is right on the peak of that curve.
I hope you never hear a really good system ;). The nsd were. Great value back in the day. But the limits are far, far below pretty much anything else these days. One day you might want to do things you simply can’t now. Like pressurize the room. Or extend to sub sonic. Or play at reference level etc.
@@COGuyStuff I have heard some really good systems, and I have no need to try to match them. My listening room is 17x19 with 9' ceilings, so not huge by any means. I play mostly classical music -- at an SPL that won't wake the sleeping baby next door. That's why I prefer sealed subs. That said, I have a "budget" ported sub in my living room and one in my gaming setup; they make sense for cinema and video games and sound good enough when played at sane levels. I hope the new sub has worked out for you.
The video you are commenting on is years old. I’m way past both of those.
@@COGuyStuff I'm aware of its age.
Hope there's ample room between your sub and your neighbors bedroom!
😆 lolololol... Good one
When are u going to do movie demo
I'll be doing setup and comparison vids this weekend.
SMH... it's a good thing you're upgrading because I upgrade right with you lol
Lol I was on Google at work today looking at that very same pb-4000 they gave a inside diagram of the ports going through that sucker you need a nuclear plant for that one partner
Are you using the crossover in the subs if so turn them off set all speakers to 90
Bad advice and no I’m not.
CO Guy Stuff great advice the svs sub crossover must be turn off can do that in the app and have the lfe in amp set to 120 and the speakers at 80
Yes lfe 120 and crossover off at the sub
Need update when you get it.
I have pb 2000 pro would love the 4000 but 2 pb 2000 pro will be much better than one 4000 i love the app i set the app eq 29 hz and 4 boost and 3 qfactor
Love the updates.
When you just need to order more stuff you could maybe grab more of the sound deadening art panels for some more spots..lol.
Damn Bryan Strait ballin on em my dude
So your walls rattle just like mine
You need a theater room
Yep...but not in the cards!
System and setup looks great...whar x/o do you run your front stage at?
Do u use lfe for sub and at what x/o?
Why not 2 subs?
no room, or I would. 80. The next vid shows it all
Love it!!
Still have your old sub?
I don’t keep old stuff
@@COGuyStuff Fair enough and thanks for the reply. 🍻
@0:36 Thats what she said.
Prediction time....In two months Bryan will open a video with.."bit the bullet" and pan to his wall without dry-wall to fix the rattling noise..:)
...it’s possible lol but if I go that far, I’ll expand in to the bedroom, make an enclosed theater and...hmmmmm
@@COGuyStuff I will be looking forward to the series in about six months...lol
Wife wouldn’t approve one of the cylinder subs?
There are only two models, a small one like what I have and a 4000 series, which is what I ordered and is already fine. They don't make any bigger. The traditional box version of the 4000 is deeper and louder also.
