    Great to see your working with the LT1.. I had mentioned before about having one in my 2015 C7 corvette and I’m looking some simple ways to increase the horse power dependable on a budget.. The headers and cam you just showed with the right intake looks good to me!! You did say there were more gains to be made with more camshafts and you were going to explore that soon.. I’m going to wait to see those test before having these modifications made on my Corvette because a custom tune runs about $500 in my area here in NC and I want to do it all at the same time to save money and get the most out of it at the same time!! I’m 68 years old and only have 16k miles on the car but have had muscle cars all my life and my heart race’s every time I stretch her out..

      If you live in NC you should 100% get in touch with pray performance for tuning. He's probably the best in the country when it comes to the LT, and he's in your state. Im pretty sure he has the LT bolt on and heads/cam quarter mile records. Low 10s bolt on and low 9s heads/cam in a 6th gen camaro. He even does remote tunes if you dont want to go see him.

    • @Jr_5646
      @Jr_5646 Před 3 lety +3

      By the way, the LT1 responds great to a cam and E85. If there is a gas station near you that sells flex fuel, you should definitely get a flex fuel sensor and tune. Easily 40 whp gain for a few hundred bucks. Cam will gain another 60-75 wheel. Dont know what your budget is, but the cam install can be pretty expensive if you're not doing it yourself.

    This Lt1 talk confuses me. My 3rd gen Camaro has a real Lt1 in it (of course it is not stock for this car!), these LT motors, L83/L86/Lt...... Hard to wrap my head around this. How are we suppose to differentiate between small block LT1 and the LT motors? If you are calling it an LT1? :)

    Definitely gotta take those numbers with a grain of salt. You don’t hide the fact that no accessories, optimized tune and modifications and this time e85 but they’re still a long ways away from real world power numbers.
