I was born in the 50s, I’m a white woman vet from the U S navy not a usual thing to be in the 70s. You have found here one of my all time favorites. You can’t go wrong with Marvin Gaye, you might want to check out the Staple Singers also. This was the best music of the 60s and part of the 70s. Enjoy, this is a very deep rabbit hole.

You're in for a treat. Another great remix of this masterpiece is the mix by The 7 Samurai. I feel blessed to have all of these versions.
