This new Melina guy is cracked but this most definitely makes me sad. I feel like at this point overwatch 2 was just used as hype to get new players into the game. This makes me feel empty inside.
I've the feeling that all the work of papa Jeff is almost finished and ready to upload (at least 70% of it) .. pve, talent tree, missions... all that stuff is done before he leaving .. but double locked in the drawers.. secretly hidden by Blizzard-Activision on purpose to deprive us of a complete and perfect game .. too much for us after all, who are we in their eyes.. an aging consumer base.. most of us are in our 30s to 40s ..it's time to abandon us and look for a new wave of spoiled young children who have eyes that wiggle in front of any new skin .. Blizzard's policy changed a long time ago : Diablo mobile .. cute races totally foreign to the WoW universe ..etc they're looking to attract more younger customers.. times are changing.. we have to make up our mind .. they don't really care about old veterans... only money matters... 😔
Man. I really wanted pve. Even though I'm disappointed if they put pve in the battle pass I might still buy the Battle Passes to play the scrapped pve. I know it wont be the same but I know a lot of people will be coping the same way. I really like this game there isnt anything like it. Especially anymore since all of OW's competitiors died (Paladins, Battleborn) and OW was never competing with TF2 despite the community war we had with both games. If I have to see this game die for real I'm going to be sad.
I get you tbh, Ive been playing this game since its release and ever since the PVE announcement I was hyped. But man it feels like a stab in the back now that they canceled PVE. Sure it can allow them to focus on pvp and new heroes but the whole point of killing OW1 was for this. Now we gotta get a drip-feed version of what was supposed to come. Which is just sad and disappointing in general.
@@emma6648 True but as I said I just dont want the game to die. I was starting to enjoy it alot again. It might be hard to understand what I mean if you dont like the game the way it is right now. But for me right now, this is *the* FPS, *the* team game. I really like it despite all the flaws and the drama. I dont want to go to Valorant or CSGO. I dont want to play LoL or some moba. I dont want to go play CoD or Fortnite, Paladins or some other f2p shooter. They're not like this game. So I want to support it because no Overwatch means... no games that will scratch the itch the same way. If you've ever been die hard for something in your life you would know there is just no giving it up.
@@emma6648 money talks tbh, if I was the community I would boycott blizcon entirely and probably the next battle passes but if you can only play the hero mission on that set season then people are gonna have the fear of missing out. So really when it comes to that it’s a tough choice
It's not right. Companies cannot just lie and sell a totally different product to their customers and get away with it. We need to try and let them know that. I suggest that we all stop playing overwatch and stop watching the Overwatch League even for a day and they will watch their numbers plummet, and Then they will understand that they don't have all the power and can't just take us for granted like this. Otherwise big companies like them will continue to walk all over us and continue to lie. But this comment most likely won't be seen by most. Influencers like yourself need to say this to people so it can be heard by everyone and collectively we can all do this together. I play a lot of dnd an a similar thing happened recently where the company was lying and trying to take advantage of certain people and we all unsubscribed from our accounts with them and DND Beyond and all of a sudden they freaked out and saw trheir numbers plummet. And after that everything turned around and they have been fighting to ammend everything since. Blizzard won't do that until we say something or make a stand
Very true, honestly after this I have been seeing more members uninstall the game. We do need to do more by hurting their pockets because Activision Blizzard has been hurting all of their games. Just look at COD for example. With BlizzCon coming up the community should boycott it along with the shop and battlepasses. Getting everyone on board would be tough but the community needs to come together for this. Blizzard has been overstepping now.
@@Flakiess I’ve tried to reach out to as many other CZcamsrs who cover Overwatch news as I possibly can but that’s the best I can do. But if other CZcamsrs and influencers can make a stand and similar videos where they let people know they are uninstalling the game or no longer purchasing anything from the battle passes etc. I’m sure everyone else will follow. And you’d be amazed at how effective something so simple would be. If Blizzard sees a massive drop in sales for a week, that’s bad news for them and that’s when they will start listening
@@nooneinparticular9879 Something has to change with how they are doing updates. It has gotten a lot better over the years but the way they handled dropping the PVE mode when the entirety of OW2 was supposed to be for this was horrible. They could have showed us what they at least had coming for us for the new ltm's, how it works and all that but. Even then it just feels like a huge middle finger from blizzard after getting all that money they got from ow2
@Flakiess Would this count as false advertising? We buy their ingame stuff for the promise of the PvE, and they outright say they're not doing it anymore. Sure the patches and limited events are eeeehhhh okay. But they can only keep that up for a while before we the players just give up on the game as well.

If you buy the bp and play it you’ll tell them that it’s all okay to do what they did and they’ll do it more

I can see the game actually dying this time because the PvE was dumped.
Sadly can, ppl are already leaving faster than ever and this just gave them a reason to do so.
