Just a quick health update. Chemo's all done, one more surgery coming up and some radiation in June but all's well!

I think one of the things I most appreciate about your channel is that you’ve obviously been cultivating this aesthetic and lifestyle carefully over many years. It’s inspiring to see someone who has carefully collected pieces over years, and helps me imagine what living like this long term will look like, and how it can be sustainable. (In contrast to younger youtubers who have only begun curating this kind of life in the last few years.)

I watched this episode in the early hours of this morning. Late afternoon, I rearranged & cleaned my combined lounge and dining areas. So relieved it's done. Sat down and admired my own work. Then re-watched this episode. A happy day :)

I love how your cat climbs straight on the clean and tidy sofa. 😁Our cat always used to wait until we made the bed in the morning and then climbed under the duvet so perfectly that only a hump was visible in the middle of the bed, the rest of the sheets stayed straight.
Both my kitties enjoy messing up my bed just when I’ve made it 😂
You made cleaning windows with the steamy thing, whilst balancing on a stool and crouching, look effortless! Then again minimalism is all about balance. Glad to hear you are keeping well.

Unfortunately, my husband and 3 year old son do not support me in my attempts to be minimalist and keep things tidy. But I will keep trying to introduce a very moderate minimalist way to them)

I’ve never seen a duvet cover put on that way before , but it’s genius ! I usually wrestle and struggle with mine . Only to shake it over snd over until I finally give up with a less then perfect duvet . You make cleaning snd tidying up look effortless. I actually find cleaning relaxing , so I really enjoyed this video ,.

Not true though. With two cats who can go outside in the flower beds, my home is never really clean 😂

About the marble, I've been cleaning our untreated Carrara marble surfaces with Marseille hard soap for years and with time it naturally seals the surface so that when splattering occurs (tomato sauce, curry, that kind of horror-splattering) it doesn't stain the surface.
Spring cleaning is my favorite time of the year to clean.
Hi from the Southwest US, just thanks for this reminder. Around here, there is only a week or two when it's comfortable to do all this extra stuff, and that is RIGHT NOW! In a week or two all I'll want to do is lounge and get through the heat. Some nights never drop below 95 F
...but, it's a dry heat.
So having some extra inspiration, I feel armed enough.

I love the look of the floors but to be honest next time I’m going for varnish instead of hard wax. They’re pretty high maintenance.
