- On this episode we install a new SC Project exhaust on the 765RS. The stock header isnt a two piece design so we needed to adapt a header from a 2022 model. While we were at it we decided to delete the cat as well. Follow along on the build and sound off in the comments.

I’ve been saying this for years but channel deserves so much more views
Appreciate that!
Exact setup I'm running and it's gorgeous. Best looking exhaust for this bike.
Agree!
in my opinion the new Zard with the carbon panels on both sides is now the best looking…. But 2199€ is a joke
🔥🔥🔥
I didn’t want to buy the older header to do a cat delete so I bought the Spark Grid-O full titanium exhaust. Sounds killer.
Hell yeah!
Awesome choice, love the Grid-0 system on my MY18 765R 💪😎

are there slip-ons for the rs765 aswell?
why does the mid pipe look like a long rolling poop (so called S curve)? Does it serve any purpose?
Where did you order the 22 header from
Wondering the same thing
I have the same header and a sc project exhaust. What did you clamp the mid pipe to on the header?
Is there a difference between curves and straight mid pipe?
No Power Commander. 😮 ECU tune.
no remap ?
what year was the collector? And 💰💰please
what did you do to the o2 sensor
Just reconnected it
Have you figured out how to raise the idle on any of the 765s yet?
That would be great. The odd thing is it seemed my 2024 RS was automatically raising idle in the friction zone for the first 100km or so. Then it stopped never to resume that behavior.
I cannot find any 22 header for sale. :( do you think it will work if I cut the original exhaust after the catalityc?
I feel the same way. Why can't kt just be cut and then use a clamp or weld on the new exhaust.
@@daviddunlap5602 its so frustrating
@@richardsidarov honestly will probably wait for winter and try and cut it and do it myself. I'm wondering if cutting it myself. If it doesn't work out, I just order a new header as the old one will just go in the trash anyway. Lol
@@daviddunlap5602 my friend will cut it and we are going to put a slip on on it. I will let you know how it went
Hey Ernie, did you have to drill a second hole in the tab that holds the radiator from swinging? Other dudes on youtube said that they had to in order to get the '22 headers to work. (p.s. take the db killer out at least for a sound clip)
Nope used it all just like it is on the 2023. No additional tab needed. Headed bolted right up with no mods
Awesome thanks!!
There are many variations of headers for the 765. From 2017 to 2024 theres like 4 or 5 i think. The horizontal pipe on the front of the headers is the main difference between them. Some have them, some dont, some a bigger or shaped different. You might be referring to my video, where my 2022 headers needed to have a hole drilled for the rad support.
@@motocorn Damn dude you're always coming in clutch with the info for me! I appreciate it.
You got it! @@cole2917
Make sure you tune it. Those Euro5 bikes are lean AF from the factor, and a decat and pipe makes it dangerously lean. The bike has no ability to adjust or remap itself, despite what some folks claim... You definitely want to put a tune in it with that setup.
Yup that’s next for sure! Every time I remove the cat that’s the first thing I do
@@EverythingEmpire Yeah, my wife had the 2018 Street RS and we tossed it on the dyno after installing a slip-on... It was acceptable.... my 2020 Street RS however, was running dangerously lean with a slip-on and decat... Had to put it on the dyno and do a full tune to get it sorted...
Yeah I’ve done the same. Took it to Dynojet and it was dangerously lean after an exhaust. Needed a fatter tune for sure!
@@EverythingEmpire Interesting, as the guys are Racefit with their exhaust state no tune is needed. I wonder if that because you removed the cat, it changed something?
@@reddpill thats because of the cat and stock headers that are being used. If you remove the cat almost always a tune is required. I am planning to run a stock pipe for a year and if I have no problems I am just gonna tune it with a new system. Stock exhaust sounds not too bad on this bike actually but it's almost a crime not to change it.
You could have just got the sc headers for the 2022🤷🏾♂️
boooo. we didn't get to hear it in this video?
You can hear it at the end of the video
