    GOOD HEAVENS! So many usable stops and combinations just in the Swell alone! Then likewise the Great. I should scarcely want for more. Thank you for this exquisite and thorough demonstration. I hope someday to put together a hauptwerk system - this would be more than adequate for me.

    I have been playing this for more than 5 years now. It's very similar to the 1899 Messers Morgan & Smith, W.H. Hill Norman & Beard, Brighton organ which I have played in my school days.

      This is very interesting - I am trying to put together a Hauptwerk replica of the 1899 HNB Norwich Cathedral organ (destroyed by fire 1938). How authentic was your HNB to it's original spec? Have you tried the AudioAngelorum Peterborough Organ (available by weekly rental)? If so I would love to hear your comments similarities/differences.

    Eine sehr gründliche Demonstration der klanglichen Fähigkeiten dieser schönen englischen Orgel, Paul. Das Sampleset ist sehr beeindruckend und die Orgel klingt mit der großzügigen Akustik, die du verwendet hast, sehr gut. Du hast das Glück, so viele virtuelle Organe "getestet" zu haben. Hast du bisher einen persönlichen Favoriten? Es würde mir schwer fallen, nur ein Instrument auszuwählen, weil ich sie alle haben möchte! Ich nehme an, die ideale Orgel könnte alle Perioden und Musikstile verwirklichen. Bist du auf ein Sampleset gestoßen, von dem du glaubst, dass es eine solche Herausforderung bewältigen kann? Vielen Dank für deiner Forschungsarbeit mit Hauptwerk!

    • @PaulFey
      @PaulFey  Před 3 lety +2

      Das ist eine sehr schwierige Frage. Wenn ich mich für eine Orgel entscheiden müsste wäre es wahrscheinlich die der Laurenskerk Rotterdam, mit ihr kann man die meisten Stile abdecken. Bisher hat jedes Set was ich getestet habe etwas Besonderes gehabt, was ich an einer anderen Orgel dann wieder vermisst habe.

    • @grahamtwist

      @@PaulFey Ja, das ist das Besondere an Orgeln. Jedes Instrument ist einzigartig. Glücklicherweise können Sie mit Samplesets alle haben, je nachdem, was Sie spielen und hören möchten. Weihnachtstag jedes Mal!
