I really enjoyed watching your commentary! I did not read the book in advance so I can tell you my reactions. The Julia reveal was....awesome! I had zero suspicions but it makes total sense that Julia (maybe she is an aspiring documentarian?) decided to record her mother's life story since she is terminal. I also was shocked that Camila died! I loved loved loved the ending. The foreshadowing in episode 9 when Billy and Daisy are doing the crossword and Daisy has a flash of them 20 years from now and they are laughing. I think when Daisy sees Billy has been drinking at the final show, this shock is something Daisy is processing through the whole performance. His inhibitions are gone and she both loves and is puzzled by his seductive behavior and the crowd is eating it up, BUT the Billy Daisy fell in love with is straight edge and she NEEDS that. So Daisy released Billy back to Camila, then Camila releases Billy back to Daisy after her death because she knows Daisy is Billy's other great love and they had shared him for a while. I think Camila was grateful that Daisy chose to disappear from their lives and another album and the creative magnetism that would require would doom them all.
I'm glad I didn't read the book in advance, but I will read it now with the actors in mind.
Also, I was a senior in high school when they went into the studio in November 1975 and grew up in LA so if you want my comments on the music, clothing, attitudes and set design, I'll be happy to give them. My friends and I went to concerts ALL the time. Music was everything! Radio was EVERYTHING and brought together a whole generation. My senior year was when the first Fleetwood Mac album came out and Stevie Nicks was a goddess to us.
    Anyway, thank you!
