I loved the meet/cute at the laundramat.
I agree with Jenna that if Billy met Camila at the wedding it would have taken away from the dad incident.
I liked how Bernie was completely sure of who she was and Simone struggled in the closet because in that time period coming out was a real risk.
Interesting about your discussion about the age difference in epi 1 between Billy and the others. Billy tells Graham he's only 14 and there will be lots of girls in his future. To me Billy looks like he's around 18. When they see the father at the wedding, present day Graham says he was only 4 when their father left. Later in epi 5 Billy tells Daisy in Teddy's car he was 8 when his father left which reinforces a 4 years age difference between Billy and Graham. I did not read the book first but I had an immediate impression that Billy was about 4 years older than Graham and his friends.
We really didn't pay that much attention to the numbers 😂 So you're probably right
