Congratulations Michelle for Nigeria, winning against South Africa and being in the Olympics for the first time in 16 years!
❤🇳🇬🎉🎉🎉
As of the time this comment is posted, Nigeria has made the Olympics! As a Houstonian, I love to watch Alozie on the field!! She's such a badass!!
Definitely one of the best episodes! Michelle is incredible and so is her story. You could see how in awe Sam was of her through this whole interview (and so were we).
I still can’t believe Lauren James did that at the World Cup, but kudos to Michelle for how she handled it. Pure class
Love Michelle. She’s brilliant. Nigeria is one of my favorite teams to watch play.
Where are you from
Michelle Alozie was phenomenal for Nigeria at the Last Women world cup in Australia.
She is the toast if Nigeria fans!
What a stellar young woman setting the bar for both grace and highest level life! Wow. We all need to step it up :))
WOW this gurl is lit ...Such a career.Actually watched her yesterday in south Africa..i became a fan instantly. Infact am subscribing to your channel right away...
Thank you for the interview with Michelle Alozie and for getting close and personal with. I'm sure her supporters know more about her now. She's so loved and respected in Nigeria.
Michelle epitomizes beauty, brains and talent! And Sam is an excellent interviewer. Keep it up Sam!
What a great role model and a perfect well rounded soccer player! Always loved watching her play! She’s an amazing, intelligent human being! And I love how Sam asks such deep, thoughtful questions that bring out the emotion of soccer. She’s a great conversationalist and these players have no problem opening up to her!
Not Michelle trying to keep a straight face while they’re listing her achievements🤣
IMO state Dey go school well well ❤❤
We made it to the Olympics! Hurray!!! Women indeed are more than they think if they decide to be the inspiration for those coming after them. Wonderful interview really!!
Ah love this interview! What an interesting journey to get to professional soccer. I also love meeting new players to root for through the Women’s Game! Rooting for Nigeria tomorrow 🎉
Hello Sam. What a great story of being willing to go to the ends of the earth for your dream, then having it fall in your lap. Michelle is nobody's doormat and you can feel you can see her intelligence coming out at you.
Being English, that Nigerian team really gave our team a run for their money. The penalties were something else.
Since there were no pudding references, can I mention that Yorkshire lasses scored two, before Chloe Kelly's hop, skip and thump! The poor Nigerian goalkeeper, who was then consoled by her opponents, in for me another "moment" of the competition.
What a lovely person! Enjoyed getting to know Michelle. Was so impressed with how she handled the Lauren James stomp at the WWC. I'm a big fan!
What a great interview! She seems like a great person. She deserves everything that seems to have just dropped in her lap. She’s also an amazing player!
Michelle is a wonderful lady. May almighty God bless her always 🙏
Michelle is amazing!!! Loved this interview, Sam. :)
Love Love Love your curiosity Sam. Your EYES are alight with interest and passion for others. Most EXCELLENT interview.
We love you Michelle 👍🏾🇳🇬♥️
This interview flew by, Michelle is awesome.
Nigeria 🇳🇬 🇳🇬 🇳🇬 outplayed England. They didnt go toe to toe. We dominated the game. We out possessed then. We were more technical and skilful.
Our Goal keeper was way better and their star player Lauren james was made to look like an U13 player .
That is how good the Nigerian Super Falcons is
Favorite interview so far 👏🏽 Always been interested in hearing players with dual nationalities speak on how/why they chose what team to play for and the journey behind that.
Great questions Sam! Michelle is amazing so much for being so young.
Alozie is a lovely and great ambassador of Nigeria female soccer team. She is also invloved is medical research. She has demonstrated that having a goal directrd life helps quite alot. I love her insight into the "no gree for anybody" on field attitude of Nigerians. I wish the super Falcons and Houston Dash some silverware in 2024.
Absolutely amazing interview, as they all have been on this brilliant podcast. Listening to what these women have gone through and are still going through for the love of the game is just awesome. As a working class man, they certainly earn my total respect as women, athletes, and well rounded human beings. That is why I love the women's game so much, because it is real. I gave up watching the men's game years ago when the money and the ego's went through the stratosphere. I just wasn't interested in watching guys who earn more in five minutes than I do in a month.
I really hope that the women's game continues to grow, but hope that it stays sensible and grounded, and not turn into the grotesque money driven circus that the men's game has become.
As for Michelle Alozie, she shouldn't be wearing a Houston Dash or a Nigerian jersey. She should be wearing a Superwoman cape!
Keep up the great work, Sam. I just can't get enough of this show and all the positive vibes! Respect!
Excellent interview Sam, Michelle is a treasure. Good luck to her with her National team and with the Dash. 🙏🏾👍🏾
Well done, Sam for this interview. Michelle is truly an amazing person with a pure heart. I believe strongly she's going to achieve great things in her careers. I love her vibes. 🥰🥰🥰

Sam's questions are very well-thought and very insightful and Michelle is such a big role model. Great interview ❤
WOWZA - Michelle is amazing. Love what she's exemplifies as a soccer player and a kick-ass human being.
Definitely not one of the athletes who has to wonder what to do after retirement. 😁
We love you from Nigeria 🇳🇬 🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬
Definitely one of the best interviews!
14:51 "Let me do some touches on the ball real quick." BIG smile! 😄⚽Admire your RESOURCEFULNESS seeking your dreams in soccer AND medicine. Unique pathways you're traveling. Good on you!
Thank you so much, Sam. I love your show. Michele is an amazing patriot. We Nigerians love the interview ❤
Thank you for this beautiful interview. It was very emotional for me. Michelle, thanks for being a proud Nigerian.
She is our sweetheart back home and we love her so much. We wish her many more successful years with the super falcuns and in her career.
See you in the Paris, beautiful one
Very good interview. We love Michelle. The way she talks about playing for Nigeria is so heartfelt, that you can’t help but love her. Nigeria did qualify for the Olympics, so we’re very proud of the team.
I also want to mention that Sam Mewis is a great interviewer. The questions actually helped make this interview. Watched her on the USWNT for a long time, but didn’t know she was this talented outside of soccer.
Excellent interview! Well done Sam and Michelle Alozie. I will be watching Dash games now.
Great Interview... She is a super human and wish her nothing but the best... Big fan of hers from now on.

Great interview!! The type of role model that young girls should be inspired by.

Scientific speaking, M. Alozie mind is robust, clear and high charge because of all the running at the game, an exercise that really help get brain going.!!👍

Oh that was very informative about the numbers. I was wondering about Alex and

I have to cheer for Canada, (I'm Canadian) for me there's a lot of love for both teams. I'll definitely feel bad for the losers of tomorrows game.
Great interview.
Good luck tomorrow! I'm rooting for the uswnt but love watching the canadian players in the NWSL :)
@2195brodie. I have friends in Texas, but family in Canada, a fellow Commonwealth country, so there is no real choice in who to support. I loved spending time in both countries.
There is more good achievement coming for you. Receive annointing for greatness in Jesus name. God loves you
We know Michelle so well in Nigeria 🇳🇬 and we are proud of her . Her game though has dropped. She was a beast down the right wing but now her pace has dropped drastically.
I want her back to her perfect best
🎉🎉🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🎉🎉🎉
Well done Michelle... She and Nigeria qualified for the Olympics and she played great against South Africa in playing out the goal less draw that got us there.
You represent the best of us. An incredible young woman. Your parents and family deserve to be very proud. We're certainly proud of you
What a great interview I remember that shocking tap all that kind of made me lose a bit of respect for the Baller that is Lauren James
Up Naija,we know dey carry last. Nigeria 🇳🇬 🇳🇬 🇳🇬 🇳🇬 🇳🇬 🇳🇬 🇳🇬 🇳🇬 🇳🇬 🇳🇬 🇳🇬 🇳🇬 🇳🇬 🇳🇬 🇳🇬 🇳🇬 🇳🇬 🇳🇬. We do proud of you damsel.
What a great interview! I agree it’s the best so far cause they just keep getting better and better. Sammy you killed it, and Alozie is just an amazing person. I loved getting to know her better - thank you for asking all the things! #GoDash! 🤘🧡🩵
LOVE how you are interviewing players from other countries, sam. and good questioning.
She was American-born and played allegiance to her parents country.
