Right now Portuguese Golden Visas are *not* being issued in 6-9 months. Two or three years is more like it. Given the new law counting residency from application rather than issuance, it's just as well. In fact it's better, since it means the expensive GV will have to be renewed one less time before citizenship.

Spain's 2 year fast track applies to Mexicans, Chileans, Argentinians, Peruvians, Columbians, Salvadorians, Dominicans, Brazilians, Andorrans, Portuguese, Philipinos, Cubans, (in some cases Sephardic peoples) and even Puerto Ricans. The process for Puerto Ricans is a bit more time consuming, since we first have to get a document from the Puerto Rican government, which declares us Puerto Rican by birth or thru parents

For Bulgaria, you can obtain residence permit by TRP route (the cheapest and easiest), as long as you have an active company outside BG you will be eligible to obtain the entrepreneur permit.
Best part : You can become a tax resident and pay flat 10% as long as you can prove your vital interests in BG

I grew up in a post-Soviet country (not in a Baltic one, unfortunately, because I could have been enjoying EU citizenship for many years now), and the type of suffering people here in the EU tell me about is a different story. Yet, there are broken individuals here, even though they have never experienced the hardships of the former USSR nor Africa.
Besides, people tend to have different pain thresholds, so it’s quite challenging to determine the ‘real’ impact of the same thing when two different people experience each phenomenon in a unique way.

What an ignorant and unintelligent comment. Do you have statistics on the number of properties purchased by foreign “golden visa” holders in Spain? If you do, provide the citation(s). No way are foreigners enrolled in this program buying more than a couple percent of all homes sold in Spain each year.
