Question. Since I’m a small guard can I still study bigger players? Like 6’2 guards are bigs? Or do I have to study small players cause I’m probably going to be 5’11.
You should just find someone that has a similar play style to you. Whether he’s 5’8 or 6’3.
Coach I went straight ballistic one game, taking shit, scoring and locking people up but then I just lost it like a temporary superpower how do I be that version of myself but all the time

From your knowledge how many hours would you say top high school recruits practice every day and what do the workouts look like?
Some barely practice at all, some workout 2-3x a day and do everything right in terms of how they workout. Depends a lot of how naturally gifted they are which most of the top recruits have insane natural ability so many can get away with not working a ton especially in high school. Definitely don’t look at the majority of the players like that as an example of what to do, everyone is different.
@@VisionDrivenBasketball What type of players would you say naturally train right, like college, nba, overseas? Also what would you say is the separator in high school basketball most of the time? Like is it athleticism, height, raw skill?
@@bigboy-jt3uk I don’t know what you mean by naturally train right. I don’t think most players naturally train right. What I’m saying is that some players train right because they actually care to and they have good coaches/trainers to guide them, they do their own research, etc…the separator in high school can be all 3 of the things you mentioned, athleticism and size probably the main things. When it comes to high school vs. college, size and athleticism is by far the biggest separator.

A good trainer is one of the best tools you can use to get where you want to get to. A bad trainer is basically just an expensive rebounder so you really have to judge it based on quality. That being said, there’s so much information out there, you can really make a ton of progress by yourself if you don’t have access to a good trainer.
