  • "Professional sports is probably not the first entity that comes to mind when thinking about Walt Disney or his company. As early as 1966 Walt Disney was involved with Gene Autry and the California Angels. Though the extent to which Disney participated in professional sports is limited, the company bearing his name would later change the sports landscape forever".

Their next jersey change should definitely revert back to their roots. That white duck mask jersey is iconic as hell.

Agreed! You can't tell me the D web foot logo merch sold as well (which I avoid).
If they can brink back the OG logo on the orange alternate (just bought one for my little one and it's pretty sweet), they can do the same for their home/away while keeping their current colors (which I'd buy in a heartbeat).
Also, please bring back Kariya/Selanne jerseys with the OG logo so we don't have to pay ridiculous amounts for old and faded second hand fleabay collectibles.

Both expansion teams from 1993, the Ducks and the Panthers, now have a Stanley Cup on their resume. Anaheim in 2007 and Miami, Florida with theirs this year in 2024!

Probably the greatest era in Anaheim sports history even though the 2nd half of the Eisner era was bad the Sports teams benefit a tremendously, especially the Angels 2002, the entire city of Anaheim and all of Orange County just felt very united very different vibe. Very awesome time to be an Angel swear

I have an old school Mighty ducks sweat shirt that my grandpa gave my Dad who would later give to me. While I am a massive Predators fan I have a soft spot for that sweat shirt. After all it's old school and has been passed down. In an odd way it's almost like an heirloom.

I liked the original design of the logo much more. I always wondered why it was changed, now I know. I also didn't realize that it took longer than I thought for the Ducks to win their first (and so far only) Stanley Cup, but I've always found it funny that the Ducks beat the L.A. Kings, who had been in Southern California since the 80s and even had the great Wayne Gretzky for a time, yet it was the Ducks who first brought the Stanley Cup home to Southern California. (But, of course, the Kings have since accomplished the feat more than once.) Thanks for the informative video. Now I'm going to watch the video about the Angels, which I was looking for initially, but when I saw the Angels' video was a "part II" I had to check out part 1 first.
