    Life moves. We move with it. We have been together through thick and thin. From the days when we had to count pennies to the time we took three holidays in a year.
    We are a young-ish (at least in our minds) couple who consider ourselves citizens of the world. We love to travel, meet the friendly locals, experience their rich cultures and taste their authentic cuisines.
    We would like to share with you various anecdotes from our adventures and not-so-mundane tidbits from our daily life.

    @ Everyone, I said the cost of a haircut should not be more than 15 or 20 riyals. What did it cost you? Please share your experience.

    Bro, if i arrive in Medina airport, from where can i wear the ihram

    • @LifeMoves
      @LifeMoves  Před 8 měsíci +3

      @ Shahrukh,
      If you arrive in Madinah first, you will make your intention of Ihram at Masjid Dhul Hulayfah on the way to Makkah. You can wear your Ihram at Masjid Dhul Hulayfah (there’s changing rooms / bath etc there) or wear it anywhere (for example hotel in Madinah) before you reach Masjid Dhul Hulayfah. As long as you are in Ihram Masjid Dhul Hulayfah and beyond, you are ok.
      I have discussed this in Ep.4.

    Please guide on book hotels in Mecca and Madinah online

      Sure, it is pretty easy. I always book through the booking dot com app. I select the location as Masjid Al Haram and sort the search results by ‘distance from the location’. I also use the filter to limit the search results to the price range I can afford.
      Then once I choose a hotel, it is a matter of a few clicks to pay online and book the room.

    Are you supposed to cut your hair there or can you go back to your home country and cut it there?

    • @LifeMoves
      @LifeMoves  Před 6 měsíci +2

      You remain in the state of Ihram until you cut your hair. That means you cannot wear your regular clothes. So, it makes sense to do it as soon as possible.
      If you go back to your home country without cutting your hair, you have to go back wearing the clothes of Ihram!

      Brother thanks for the videos I heard the ladies cannot cut their hair themselves, but I don’t know whether it's true or not.

      The ruling I follow says anyone can cut their own hair. This is the majority opinion. If you wish to follow another opinion, please ask a scholar that you trust.
