- Following a small flooding problem in Channel 4 News' studio, the News at Noon has to come from the newsroom instead. Presented by Krishnan Guru-Murthy. I've thrown in the weather forecast at the end for good measure.
Good attention to detail, they put 'Newsroom' on the split screen caption instead of 'Studio'.
I rather like it being broadcast from the newsroom. Very Kirsty Young, but with a stern, adult attitude.
Funny how there's a flood and Channel 4 are covering a story about water
Esure And Shelias Wheels Are Channel 4 And More4 weather’s Sponsorship when they also did that on ITV1
Always wondered what newscast would look like from a random newsroom desk.
@WorldNews92 No - ITV News is filmed in a virtual greenscreen studio closed off from the ITN atrium.

Is the blue side of the studio on the opposite side of Channel 4's newsroom where they film ITV News?
@WorldNews92 yeah.
@triassicranger Yes, I think it did in the early 90s.
Irony much?
Does Channel 4 share newsrooms with the BBC then? Because I'm sure that it's the BBC News titles in the background between 1:39 and 1:49.
Ye it is bbc news it’s because they like to watch the news on the news
Alfie Mulcahy Five News was produced by ITN from 1997-2005 then Sky News took over until 2012
Ok I don’t remember putting this lol
BBC News on the TV screens behind him is a bit concerning…
Was the studio actually flooded? 🤔🤔🤔🤔
Yes but they couldn’t show the flood beacause if they did the entire studio will blow up
@@lillypatterson7670 wtf it wouldn't blow up lol XD
@@cataclysmic_eas it was a joke 😹😹😹
Fair do's
I rather liked Channel 4 News more the main evening programme from what I remember there was normally 2 presenters and the weather was done showing a map with the 2nd newsreader
+James Delaney from 2003 to late 2009/2010 channel 4 had a lunchtime bulletin at noon and the main bulletin at 7pm
@@peterwilliamskelhorn6675 Yes I know that but my comment was talking about what it was like in 1990's or there about Channel 4 News at Noon doesn't broadcast now I think it's news summary jus like they have at weekends and holiday times the weekend editions of Channel 4 News don't last as long as the weekdays do
@@jamesdelboyyeah they only have a summary during they day now. Krishnan was on strictly 2023 Dancing with Lauren Oakley
This was on Thursday 23rd of July 2009 (I think)

D'oh!
Channel 4 Weather Sponsorship sting - Esure (Windscreen)
Back before the news was good now all there talking about is covid 19
Hmm maybe you're too young to have notice the biggest loom of many years the bankers and markets recession. And then the words Deficit and Austerity drilled in day after day.
