We used to do similar thing with part of pen, ping pong ball and our own breath in middle school. It was really hard tho. Awesome video, I didn't expect it to work with screwdriver. Mind blown.
I had a toy that makes exactly the same efect with a ping-pong ball, and we were amazed because we couldn't understans how it worked, it was magic for us when we were children!

Maybe you don't know it, but in Barcelona there's a tradition called l'ou com balla, the egg as it dances, where an egg dances on top of a water fountain.
In physic this is named Bernoulli effect something like that . It happened because the air push flow through the ball or screwdriver really fast that make air pressure around it really low . Thus, the atmosphere pressure push the ball/screwdriver to the centre and balance it .
Im pretty sure it's because the air goes around a sphere, which im sure is the most aerodynamic shape, in such a way where the layer of moving air is symmetrical, therefore all forces acting upon it are balanced
Its actually not fake . This could be done easily . U can also do this trick with a hairdryer and a ping pong ball . This effect called Bernoulli .. something like that
