    Stuff we use:
LENS - Most people ask us what camera we use, no one ever asks about the lens which filmmakers always tell us is more important. This lens was a big investment for us and one we wish we could have made sooner. Started using this lens at the end of 2013 - amzn.to/2tbtmOq
    AUDIO
Rode VideoMic Pro - The Rode mic helps us capture our backup audio. It also helps us sync up our audio in post amzn.to/425k5rG
Audio Recorder - If we had to do it all over again, this is probably the first item we would have bought - amzn.to/3WEuz0k
LIGHTS - Although we like to use as much natural light as we can, we often enhance the lighting with this small portable light. We have two of them and they have saved us a number of times - amzn.to/2u5UnHv

I have been learning to use ai. It's not as easy as people think. At least for something specific that you're specifically are looking for. I see ai as another tool. Like a drill. Imagine the world before power tools. You have to screw every screw manually, hammer every nail manually, and paint everything one stroke at a time. Now, you can use a drill to screw MANY screws, use a nail gun to nail on a massive scale, have a paint gun to finish those pieces or walls quickly and effectively. With skill that is. Yes, it does make things easier, but it still takes careful operation. That's how I view ai now that I'm trying to use it to the best of my ability.

Great comment! Which AI programs have you used?

@filmcourage Adobe has really great ai tools. But two others come to mind right away. I really like colourlab ai. And I've been doing a lot of experimenting with suno ai recently to try to get music more targeted for what I'm looking for.

If it was licensed music did you get the musician or copywrite holders permission before reducing their music to stems? Or was it included in the contract to license the music that you could essentially remix what they recorded?

I'm a writer and I'm making a table top rpg and even AI it's not easy.
I can translate and localize my work in one click, but if the original text i shit, it doesn't change anything. And if I use AI to write my text said text is just blant and boring.
I still need to be a good writer and come up with good ideas, AI just make that work faster. Not easier, FASTER.

The positive thing within his opinion is that he’s still aware of our human organic emotions. Thanks again for this great interview.

Great interview. i think it's relevant to contextualise the current situation: even if it's hard for some people to see how AI will enter into certain spaces (like the Doc world, as mentioned), we should remember that we are still in the early stage of AI atm (akin to AI 1.0). We did not know the dramatic upheaval Web 2.0 would cause until platforms like Facebook were introduced. AI 2.0 will bring an upheaval that we cannot yet perceive, but it will be every bit as impactful as Facebook, CZcams, Twitter, Adobe CS, Blender, etc., if not moreso.

Businesses don't like to take risks. Why write a new script on risky topics when you can generate a script in a few clicks similar to those that have already been written and which were at least not box office failures? The point of business is to make a profit, not to make art. And most audiences won't even notice the difference and will do the box office. So most corporations in the film industry and in the game industry will soon become an even more exaggerated caricature of themselves. Both of these industries already look like a clone factory, and with neural network it will turn into a farce.
So all hope in the coming years for indie studios in both industries.
Their problems will start when they need to generate something really new. I.e. topics and ideas that are still in the air, between the "lines" in our society. To solve this problem, we will need not just neural networks, but AI, which does not exist yet.
And as soon as AI appears, there will be no need for humans in this industry at all. But this is not a matter of the next few decades.

I came into this video thinking he was going to talk about AI that is in some programs since it's titled to be about editing (like spelling correction in Word or something) but he's using the unregulated kind. I get it, it can be a useful tool for artists to help with tedious/repetative tasks but right now that's not what it is. It's been stealing from creatives and in the midst of trying to replace them.
I'm honestly disappointed to see this channel (and even some of the people interviewed on this channel) make videos with this type of AI (and encouraging it's use during the climate of the topic) knowing full well the struggles creatives are having with it.
