Beautiful castle
Love this sweet little presentation! The music is so fitting and very fun!
I love those old medieval looking castles. Sadly most of them are ruins. The best medieval castle ruin which I have visited so far and lately formte second time this year is Craigmillar Castle outside of Edinburgh and lying in a straight airline opposite of Edinburgh Castle. You would love it there since it is not so busy due to the location in the middle of some meadows. Impenetrable there by bus to the hospital outside of Edinburg and from the bus stop it was a 20 Minute walk through a little park up the hill. It was like I dived into the medieval age. I could almost see and hear the rattling of pots and the chatter of the maids during their errands. All in all about 10 people were spread through the castle so it felt for me like I had the castle for myself. No tour guides. No busloads of sightseeing people. Really romantic and nice. A blackbird trilled in a tree nearby. Such serenity. I could live there since it is so quiet and peaceful despite of the lawn mower In the village under the castle. But you cannot even see the village from the castle.

Have you been to Stokesay Castle in Shropshire. Very attractive, but possibly the tiniest in England!
No not yet although we live on the Shropshire border. We have it on our list though, it looks so pretty.
I used to live in the cute village of Clun when I was very young, we lived by the old bridge by the river and I loved it there. There are the remains of a castle on a small hill there too, although there is very little left of it.
I forgot to say Clun is in Shropshire too.
