Yes this is funny but wow they can really sing.
Well, they are Norwegian comedians who gained a lot of international fans/followers after «The fox» (What does the fox say?) which went viral with over 1 billion views worldwide. It was originally made only for their Norwegian audience and their talkshow. They are not professional singers though, but they are amazing at it and could have been pop stars if they wanted.
They have had their own talk show in Norway for years (even before the American «The lonely Island» which is somewhat in the same style). Ylvis is two brothers, Vegard and Bård Ylvisåker. Their talkshow «Tonight with Ylvis» went on for many years with their sidekick Calle and Magnus. All their sketches and shenanigans is really funny and they have given me my best laughs through the years. They have made a lot of great songs for their talk show. They have made songs in almost every genre, with totally random themes and topics, anything really. You should react to some of their other songs «Trucker’s hitch», «Jan Egeland», «Massachussetts», «The cabin», «Work it», «Stonehenge», «Pressure», «Jeg heter finn» to name a few…

I loved how PTX's Scott, Avi, Kirstie, Mitch and Kevin were incarnated into this hilarious new group, although this "Kevin" was a little too tall for my taste. Otherwise, they killed it.
Not new! Ylvis released the song "What Does The Fox Say" about 11 years ago, also comedy, also well-sung. If I remember correctly, it was originally made just to hype up employees at a Swedish radio station where they worked (at least that's the story I heard at the time), but someone shared the video to someone here in the U.S. and it went viral.

Their main thing is comedy, and not just in music - They have tv-shows, comedy talkshows, pranks, reality etc and their music is part of that.
They are crazy talented, but there are musicians better than them even though they have great vocals and they play a lot, I mean a lot of instruments 😊

It was a terrible time when Ylvis stopped making music. While comedy, the songs are stellar

@SaeedReacts. Newest I have found is 5 years old. Sad...Jan Egeland is a proper rock anthem!
They took some years out of the spotlight, but recently started making tv-shows again, so it's probably a matter of time before we hear more music from them 😊

They made at least 8 songs in 2022, but they are in Norwegian. Check out a song called “Ferjao”😅
