yes take allll the antibiotics prescribed every single time! if the bacteria isnt 100% gone it will just pop back up and be more resistant to the antibiotics you took the first time!
Yes! Always take the full course of antibiotics. My friend sadly didn’t make her son finish his course and now has PANDAS disease due to the infection not fully being ‘cured’

I’m sorry for your loss. My sister got hers damaged from COVID and fluid around her heart. She’s ok but shes constantly in and out of the hospital for heart scares. It’s honestly scary knowing that an everyday virus can hurt you so badly.

I just turned 46 2 weeks ago when I was seven I got strep throat and my mom did not get it treated and it turned into pneumococcal spinal meningitis by the time she got me to the hospital and got me admitted I was in a coma I think a month or two in the coma they told me I had died twice yeah I don't play around when it comes to a sore throat or strep throat

Hey, just for general information, I guess the situation is in the past now...
if prescribed ANTIBIOTICS, always take the entire amount and exactly as prescribed, and never if not prescribed to you personally, especially during pregnancy, it can be really dangerous.
First of, it will be less effective if you don't take the full dosage and even more important, not taking the whole dosage can lead the bacteria to develop resistances against the specific drug, making it very difficult to treat the infection in the future.
Also antibiotics don't work as a precautionary, they're used in response to a particular, proven infection and the prescribed antibiotic is specific to the bacteria causing the infection.
