Make sure you voice it at every appointment that you don’t want to know the gender!!!! Sometimes they let it slip unless you remind them you want it to be a surprise
Yes i did this before every ultrasound and my doctor still said he at 37 weeks thankfully me and my husband were to busy listening to the heart beat she was like oh thank god i almost ruined it
Yes! Remind the ultrasound tech, your doctor and the staff. My OB slipped because he hadn’t been reminded (since he delivered my first and I didn’t want to know then, I assumed he’d remember 🤦🏻♀️). Anyway it was when I asked about the heart rate and he said “his” heart rate is fine. I never told another soul what the doctor had done…when they said “it’s a boy” during the c-section, I was too out of it to react 😂 so it all worked out.

Congratulations on your 4th pregnancy, my daughter is currently 3weeks old (first baby) and I didn’t find out the gender until birth, best decision of my life. There aren’t many surprises in life, so was nice to have a surprise. x
My husband told me when I was pregnant it's one of the few surprises you get in life. It was hard waiting but so exciting. Our daughter was our first and only child. I'm so glad we waited to know.❤

We made our loft into an extra bedroom. Yes, it did take away the loft, but it looks really good.
I think your first step should be to get an architect/contractor to come in and show you different options(with turning the loft into a bedroom and finishing the basement, how many rooms you'd like in the basement, if you want a full bathroom in the basement and the layout) that way, you'll get the cost for it all and then can decide what makes the most sense.

I have 3 sisters and we are ALL very close. I love saying my parents have 4 daughters. So I get wanting another girl. Now I had my son first and then 4 girls in a row and love it. I am so excited for y’all. Also I had a suburban and it was perfect for the entire family. I originally bought the expedition and immediately traded it for my suburban for the trunk space. You will love a suburban 💗💗
Honda Odyssey is nice if you are ok with vans the doors can be opened hands free with is great with kids and having hands full 😊

Katie, I had my son in 1972 & did not have the option to find out the gender. Then...even though I didn't have a C-section, I was put to sleep right before my son was born. So, I was the last to find out what I had. To this day, I am so sad I didn't get to see him born. I think it will be so fun for y'all to wait & I am so excited for your sweet family!

I am so excited that you are going to wait until birth! We did that for our first and it was so special! Make sure at each ultrasound and appointment you make sure that they know you do not want to know the gender. Because they may let it slip thinking that you already know or want to know because that is the norm these days.
Im actually so excited you're doing the surprise gender! I wanted to do that with my 3rd but then i just couldn't. If i have a 4th a really want to do it!
That’s the joy of being pregnant is having the surprise at the end.. I had 3 and didn’t know the gender of any of them but that’s the way it was back 45 yrs ago😊

I LOVE my 2015 Yukon xl! Ours has two screens for movies while we travel and has captain seats in the middle row. I only have 2 boys, 2 & 4 years old right now but I there’s so much room to grow!

Hi guys, when I was pregnant I could not wait to find out what I was having so I found out with all 4 of my pregnancies. I have 4 boys and part of me would have liked a girl but I was never disappointed I was just so pleased that they were all healthy. I’m so excited for you both on your last pregnancy. I knew they weren’t going to find out the gender until birth just knowing that this was probably almost 100% going to be there last baby they’ve said this before and one of their more recent other videos. Katie is done for was always their number basically at this point if they were to get pregnant, it would be completely by accident and probably would be after they’ve done some tournament thing to prevent it or something so would be like so unlikely. but I figured at this point they found out for all other babies. This is their last one. It just makes so much sense in my head.

Honestly I was team girl for your youngest two (I came with Ella so I didn’t have to guess with that lol). I feel like this is the boy ben wants! But I could definitely see you guys as Girl mom/dad! And I cant wait to see the video of boy/girl names that you guys like now and then after the baby is born redo the video!

Each child does not need to have their own room. You just put two girls in each room. Then you still have the play area upstairs. You can finish off the basement as they grow and want a place to hang out with their friends.

Best advice is when ella and Avery gets older to have their own room put them in the basement but run some cameras so that way you can see them from upstairs and then as they get older you could do the same for the other two kids run cameras, so that way you can see them in their room and you could be more at ease to know that there’s nothing wrong with them❤
I REALLY want to know the gender. Kudos to you guys for waiting, though. I'm a Birthing Center RN. The births with surprise gender are just so sweet and fun! Be sure to tell the staff present at delivery to NOT announce the sex. Let Ben do it! I'm so excited and happy for your family.🩵🩷

A surprise gender is the best present ever!!! You won't regret it! I didn't know any of my kids genders until they were born. Before ultrasounds 😂
Of course if you have a boy then you'll have to have another one lol
And a suburban or Yukon XL is the way to go!
My third i didnt find out the gender and it was really cool! I was so certain it was a girl and got girl stuff and it was a boy it took me weeks to soak in 😅 im glad i did it that way once but i wont do that again haha. I'm excited for you guys!! If it's another girl, you'll have what i grew up with. My mom had 4 girls, too! ❤

I got a mercury mountaineer and lots of trunk space
Also had a Durango and that was great because it had the hide seats so I could just have one seat up in 3rd row, what I needed and the other 2 down for extra space loved that feature.
Your just going to have to go look and shop. If u find a great salesman like I had, he let me take each one for a test week to see if it was a fit for me

Have a look at the Nissan Armada, it has a fridge too and good trunk space. I have one and can vouch for it. We did not like the Suburban at all.

When you said “if it was a boy we would be like woah wait what can you MAKE SURE and double check” that was literally me when my daughter was born after my two boys 🤣 I found out ahead of time with the blood test and the ultra sound both confirmed girl yet somehow I still didn’t believe it until I made my husband go over and check after she came out 🤣🤣 I guess that’s the shocking factor after having only one gender. It was such an unknown for me to have a girl after being a boy mom for 7 years and now I couldn’t be more happier and blessed with this beautiful little girl and my boys. I think you guys would be amazing boy parents as much as you are girl! Either way I honestly can’t wait to see how this baby looks considering how beautiful of a mix each girl looks like!! Also I had a 3 row SUV before I had 3 kids and it was so tight like my oldest trying to climb in the back and the double stroller barley fit in the trunk. We swapped it out for a van and it’s the best decision honestly especially where the doors automatically open it saves you when your carrying multiple kids and bags lol also the dvd player is a huge plus

I had my fallopian tubes completely removed and it was an out patient surgery but I did it mainly because of my lupus and the “pain process” was only like 2 days very minimal pain and you don’t bleed or anything like a period the worst part for me was coming out of anesthesia and the gas they fill you up with

I LOvED our suburban … had a 3 year old when I gave birth to quadruplets …. (We actually started with a 15 passenger van… but that is another story)…. Highly recommend !

When you get this basement done and realize that it’s not a scary if you think it is having kids down there and you have a living room down there your upper living room, end up being just for looks and everybody will live downstairs and it will be way less of a big deal than you think it is and you’re gonna wish you would’ve done it long time ago
If my kids are under the age of probably 10 I refuse to put them on a different floor than me! I just can’t do it!
I think part of that with the whole being able to find boy names you like, and not very many girl names you like is because you have three girls you’ve already named three girls, beautiful names, beautiful middle names, and now if you were to have a fourth one. It’s a little bit harder because you have to find a fourth name that you really really really like Even though it’s probably at this point not one of your top names because one of your other three girls has the top name. which is OK because every girls name fits them Ella‘s name that her Avery name fits her. Addie‘s name fits her so I think that it’s just harder to find a girls name because you already have three girls, but it will be interesting to see what ends up happening some of your symptoms you’re saying are definitely leading it to be a girl, but then there’s some other ones that have been known to be boy symptoms, so who knows I’m just happy for you guys.

I think a van would be your best choice. It would give you the extra space you definately will need with 4 kiddos and all you need for a baby. When travelling it makes more sense
My daughters are 37 and 41. We didn’t have ultrasounds so both babies were a surprise. To me especially. Husband one of four boys and assumed boy. I had one sister and really wanted to raise girls. We all are soooo close. One has a son and the other has son and daughter
