Polybutylene (PB) pipes are a type of flexible plastic plumbing pipe that are often gray, but can also be black, blue, white, or silver. They are usually half to one inch in diameter and have a smooth finish. They were commonly used in home construction from the 1970s to the mid-1990s, but are no longer produced or allowed in new construction because they can corrode and leak over time. PB pipes can also react with chlorine in water, causing pinhole leaks.
No, it’s probably the same cost if not a little more because the specially stuff that you have to have for instants all the doors are a special heigh all the plumbing fixtures are special for instance, the bathtub being 56 instead of 60. Also, there’s no overflows on anything where a house would be a little cheaper because more people have houses so that material is less money but the initial purchase of a mobile home is a lot less than what a house would be.
@@southerncharm2023 they’re not sold at Lowe’s or Home Depot. You have to either special order or go to a mobile home store because everything is different. Another one is windows. They’re all different. There’s single pane, aluminum windows. They’re almost like storm windows that you used to put over your regular windows back in the day.
