My favorite part about this is that even after all these years you still get excited about a paint job coming out awesome. Very few things can beat that feeling.

Smash that clear down, the gloss level straight off the gun, tight pattern, perfect. What pressure did you use?
I also can shoot like this , full glass but after cca 60 days the clear develops a micro texture (no orange peel , no shrinking just a micro texture ) ... no skips were made in preparation stages. I think is due to the cheap clear brand Duxone or Liquid Glass I`m using or the fact that I`m air drying my panels (I`m not painer by trade just work for me)
Smashed it Gunny, I could watch that all day there is nothing better that a freshly cleared black panel plus it's even better when it's as clean as yours. I can lay clear down quite nicely but I'm having serious dust problems no matter what I do or how much I clean and tack it's there just as the clear starts to flow it slowly appears in both coats and it's bloody frustrating. Love the colour of that gun, as I mentioned I just bought a GTI Pro for base but it's the good old gold version then a few days later your one came out Lol!! just my luck. John UK.

Awesome job Gunny I think it's time we had some liquid glass laid down I remember it on that black Audi you did. Don't they do the original air caps like t1 t2 t110 because I have checked my t2 against the te20 and they are different.

Best polish for removing orange peely clear. Rub back 1500 the 2500 3000 then polish ? What of the shelf product would you recommend. It’s dna candys with the spray max 2k rattle cans. Just came out a bit peely where I didn’t put enough on.

Gunny, looks GREAT man! On your recommendation, I got a GTi Pro Lite with the T110 cap. It came with both a 1.2 and 1.3. Im going to be doing my first full car spray with a MS42 HS clear. Would you say go with the 1.3 and around 30psi? 2 bar?
Yes sir, maybe a little lower if using thin clear or higher if using thicker clears.
Great clear!!!! I'm using Matrix all the time. 30 PSI for GTI and 1.3 or 32-35 for WS 400. Good luck!

@@notneeded4524 I used 1.2 tip only once for clear mazda 3 and like Gunman mention but 1.3 every day without issues!
Wait I wonder now if I want also to get a glass clear cote should I go 2 hands hard or 1 hand easy (where there would just be those little dots) and then on second hand go hard
Great job! How much clear you estimate was needed for the hood/bonnet? Found your typical 300ml wasn't even close doing a big assed chevy caprice. Probably a little bigger than that one.
He says 1.1 liter in the video for the hood, door and bumper. Hood is probably about the same area as the other two combined so that would be 500 - 550 ml for the hood.
I gotta ask. Your links are to a UK store? Surely most of your viewers are Aussie and you could get an Australian company to represent? Only reason I ask is I’m about to buy a GTI pro and as much as I’d like to support you I’m in Australia and prefer to buy local. Can’t do both though unfortunately.

Hey gun man, im a fan of you from malaysia. I bought FLG5 1.3 tip. Can you help me with some advice on how to change it to 1.4. Should i only buy a 1.4 fluid tip or i need to buy fluid tip 1.4 and needle 1.4 also. Please i need some advice on this
Just the fluid tip. The needle works for both. Thats what spraygunsdirect told me when i went from 1.4 to 1.3 for the flg5.

@@magnum0121984 been both 64 now 4 years ago the place where I worked went under and I decided to be my own boss had enough of the bullshit. GUNMAN is a real painter he doesn't leave the business and come back just to pull the trigger. The painter got a job up the street he was expecting me to join him and I didnt he didnt last a month. I wasnt there to do all the work for him.
@@TheDoug9901 a mate of mine (beater) just left his job because he was sick of doing half the painter's job (all the prep) the painter is a pro at applying paint but cant prep for sh!t, my mate just had enough. It's going to be an interesting month in that shop..

I just sprayed house of colors cosmic Clear coat with the Tekna Pro light 1.3 tip and TE 20 air Cap wide open fan and fluid wide-open 30 psi, mix it a little wet and it will lay down a crystal clear clearcoat for you. These Tekna guns do a great job for the $$$
