    Sir, I have a question...pleaae explain this
    Radiographic Picture looked washed out, no contrast, what was adjusted?
    • Decrease kvp
    • Increase kvp
    • Increase time
    • Less developing solution
    What i have understood is, when at Short scale, there is high contrast so the film is dark and less of gray and the Kvp is low!! on the other hand if at Long scale ,there is low contrast so the film is light and more of gray and the Kvp is high!! so with this , the answer for the above question should be decrease Kvp..but all are saying increase Kvp!!! i am not getting!! please explain..either by a video or here...thank you very very much..

    • @SaiNaveenKumarPilliPTBD18
      @SaiNaveenKumarPilliPTBD18  Před 7 lety

      Hi Patrick, yes. Increase in kVp (tube voltage) increases the overall density (due to high energy x-ray photons) of the image however decreases subject contrast. So the relation between kVp and Contrast of a radiographic image is inversely proportional.
      Also remember that contrast is influenced by film processing. Incomplete or excessive developing, storage at high temperature, exposure to bright safelights & light leaks in dark room diminish film contrast.
      Hope it's clear.

    Dear Sai,
    I have started a problem about dry mouth. I have to take a sip of liquid every ten minutes to keep my mouth wet. I can't eat any food without water. if I keep my mouth closed I dont need water. My blood and urine reports shows NO abnormality at all. Please guide me what medicine to take. I tried homeopathic medicine BRYONIA 30 for two months but nothing happened. Doctors cant understand this problem. Thanks, Shahid

    Your explanation is good but for max students it is impossible to understand . A lecture should be imaginable I mean you should present ur lecture diagrammatically that will be lil more understandable neither students will remember it ,
    as a gotafication

      Thank you. That's the very reason why diagrams or illustrations have always been part and parcel of my teaching videos. Moreover, the objective of this lecture is not to make students understand anything specific, but to enable them remember key points pertaining to salivary glands in entrance perspective. Anyways, thank you for the feedback. Best wishes & Love.
