I can't get my motorcycle out of the Cameroon JUNGLE [S7-E70]

- In this episode, I am riding to Kribi. On the way, between the towns of Loum and Yabassi - the road turns to an absolute disaster. I have never ridden such a difficult jungle track in my life! I drop my motorcycle in an unfortunate way, and the slippery mud makes it impossible to lift my bike back up on my own.

The only reason I can watch you ploughing through the mud is the fact that by the time this video is released.....you are safe and sound while our nerves are shot!!! 😂
Yes! I feel this particular video - although in past years my “heart has been in my throat” - but this one went above that into just DAMAGE to my nervous system! I almost couldn’t finish watching it
Yeah this whole season is hard to watch. Most certainly hard to enjoy.
Yes! It truly is nerve wracking watching Noraly maneuver through those treacherous "roads"! Btw, the local people she meets along the way seem to be friendly toward her. God BLESS them ALL! 🙏🙏😊😊❤❤👍👍
😂😂😂😂😂
My thoughts exactly!
If a Cameroonian says the road is bad, you'd better believe it!! 😂
Yea
😂😂😂 asey ehhh… we get our style for tell you news
@@somebodytellthem where is Paul biya, the emperor of cameroun?
Lavishing country wealth in France, while noraly is exposing his negligence
Something that a native tells you, you better listen, eh?
As an African who happens to live in Africa, we never ever abandon someone who is really in dire need of assistance! Thanks to that uncle who helped Noraly on this difficult trip. He really showed the world how we help our fellow human beings in one way or the other!
Here here!
If people would wake up, the world could be like that. At least a lot more of the world.
Yes that is typical African tradition on the whole continent. Africans are also proudly hospitable and welcoming.
That's for sure! They just jump in and help, no questions asked.
It interesting the motivation that certain people have to help their fellow man, It makes me think of Jesus and how he traveled about showing love to everyone, that caring love, the love of what our God creator of all wants us to be, yet alot of us fall short. We have a loving God that he himself came down from spirit born unto a man Jesus, to show us, and wanting us to ask of forgiveness for the wrong things we do in our life. Put our faith in Him, his son who took that payment for sin who was like a man but without sin, who we condemned to death by curcifiction. yet after 3 days rose from the dead, and has been take up to heaven. God love all his people and made a way because we are all not perfect, given us the opertunity to enter into heaven through faith in Jesus. all He asks is to prove what we believe to be perfect, if we make a mistake and we are sincere let us ask forgiveness to Jesus, and he will make us clean again. John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
My #1 takeaway from Noraly’s travels is that there is always someone willing to help a stranger. What an inspiration!
Mostly in Africa
When Noraly is in trouble a good soul pops out of nowhere and helps her. It's incredible. I think you must have a a whole group of Angels looking after you up in the skies.
There are also black angels, right!! ♥♥♥
Haha exactly
@@jsjdebets"also" Black angels? Some of you forget that Black people are the source of the original humans on earth, the blueprint, which would mean if we are reflections of heaven they are the original angels. Africans have a deep generosity that is an aspect of character sadly absent in the West. This acceptance of the stranger is an African character that her journey shows. I find your comment to be puzzling and offensive 😮

Well, well, young lady, why so negative??
The color of anyone is not important, the person has a character, his appearance and his actions. This man came at the right time and she was happy that he helped her, just like an angel.
Remove that poisonous sting from your thoughts, that is not necessary. I've seen so many beautiful people in Africa and your beautiful face doesn't match your beautiful face. Be kind my dear and have a nice evening 🙏
@@jsjdebetsWhy did you bring up color then???
He said in French: "The road is very bad, lot of mud, try to follow a motorcycle and you won't have problems, it will show you the way". Noraly only understood: "With a motorcycle, no problem."
How many times throughout history has misunderstanding another persons words taken mankind down muddy paths historically.
That is exactly what I thought too. I am a little amused by how the locals riding underpowered road bikes two up apparently have little problems with the horrible roads.

I am worn out just watching! Noraly is both physically strong & tough, but mentally tough & determined. Through it all, she remains cheerful in her interactions with the folks she meets along the way! Amazing!
Amazing indeed! Her mental toughness wins the game each time!!👍👍
Woman are more powerful than men.
I've worked it out! The secret is the mascara. She's never without it. I'll have to get some for my next off road adventure 😅
Noraly does not know the meaning of the word “quit”
Her courage is infectious.
After watching this series my definition for Bad roads has completely changed.😮
me to, from Senegal😇
That barely falls into the category of 'roads', to be fair.
Its just a bit of jungle that happens to not have any vegetation on it so people use it as paths.
My palms were sweating through the entire video. However, I really liked Noraly's comment: "No complaints." What an inspiration for life in general.
Sometimes, you get limes from Life -- make yourself some lime juice and go on. ;)
I spent 2 months working in Cameroon in 1986, mostly dirt roads. Driving anywhere in the wet season was pretty much impossible. This brought back lots of memories, well done, a brilliant effort.
I respect and thank you. I am a born Cameroonian and have lived there for 40 years before left. Your undertaking was outstanding. I was so afraid watching you through. To anyone else willing to go to Cameroon 🇨🇲 for any adventure. When my people say "it's bad", please know that they are meaning "it is almost impossible". 90% of the rural roads are like this. As we say in Cameroon, "ashia" Norally. And thanks for showing the truth and resilience of Cameroon and Cameroonians.
A truly incredible woman. But the tension I experience even watching her going through the mud I can barely breathe. And I am sitting on my comfortable couch. She is so amazing. It is almost incredible that she doesn't have 10 million subscribers. Anyone that watches itchy boots Channel keeps watching forever
We have to spread the word around 😊
Same here. I was so nervous
Noraly’s videos are far better than any other. Her skills at riding, dealing with people, geology, and videography are amazing. Plus a myriad of other skill sets! Her aerial drone footage is grand! I certainly admire her for what she’s accomplished.

The roads are constantly used by locals. It may take a while but definitely someone will show up. And one thing for sure is, in a situation like this in Africa, you will always get help
So much mad respect. Especially for a dutch girl going wild at this solo. Like you said, the locals do it every day no excuses. Gaining big respect for all the locals, always smiling and helpful through all these videos. So much respect to the locals, may God bless. Pretty hardcore, what an adventure

It is exhausting just watching you travel on roads like this. Seeing the locals tackle the same roads fully laden with bananas and some with two passengers is amazing. How enterprising, imagine if they had a better infrastructure. At least there are people about who are willing to help. Stay safe.
Your Journey to high degree is an example how we go through difficulties , ups and downs , and how in a moment when we feel it is over, someone, something happens and drags us out of the hell. The man just appeared from nowhere represents that moment , moment of relief .
That was just insane! You have a new temporary handle….”Soggy Boots”! Noraly, you are a tougher and better rider than most of the guys I ride ADV Bikes with.
I look forward to the next episode. I know it is too late, but those “Double Take” mirrors are made to be either folded in or completely removed and stowed when riding off-road so you don’t break or loose them. That was definitely not a road!
Also the episode was a great commercial for Mosko Moto, the Washington company who makes Noraly’s luggage. That right bag was under water, but when opened it was dry inside. Mosko’s motto is hard gear for hard travel. Noraly is one of their best ambassadors and testers for that matter.
Poor Alaska is trying to remember how a cushy life as a newborn in The Netherlands morphed into this anything but laid back existence! Great test for Mosko Moto though 😊

Noraly has been through some very tough challenges over the last 617 videos. To some viewers this is insanity but to her its tough, but tough is what she knows and sometimes thrives on. Thinking of some of those other challenges they each had their unique circumstances and this one ranks up there on the list but in ways its not as bad, though she still has a long way to go. I know she does not like to damage Alaska and that might bother her more than anything because Alaska, and her luggage is same as or equal to home and its contents for most of us. Peace!

Your Courage and determination to ride through Central Africa is second to none. Unbelievable, so wonderful seeing the African people helping you. Thanks for the inspiration to live life to the fullest.
I'm from Cameroon and having watched the episodes she filmed in other countries, I can't help but notice how the roads go from bad to worse the moment she gets to Cameroon. We really deserve better in Cameroon. Look at those muddy trenches called roads in Cameroon. Breaks my heart seriously what a few people have done to this beautiful country. It shall be well
It's lack of cooperation. Fix the road yourselves instead of waiting for somebody else to do it.
@@acajutla is that how it's done where you come from? Be realistic. The hard roads are the most fun and memorable !
Noraly has a lot of merit let's not forget that she is perched much higher on her motorbike so much more complicated for her than for the locals who are all on low motorbikes and can row with their feet Bravo you are incredible Noraly
Yes, I have been asking myself many times why this is so difficult for Noraly, although her bike and tyres are way better than those the locals are using. Her skills and experience are out of question. But it's obviously the high center of mass in comparison. Noraly would need a lower bike that makes it easier to just stretch out the legs to the sides and keep the bike upright no matter what.
I'll always remember that now, she's badass
Incredible Noraly. Even when she is trying to lift the bike from the mud, the whole scene is filmed as though there is a camera crew. Noraly's courage and skills are beyond belief.

Noraly’s journey across Cameroon is like therapy for me! I grew up in Cameroon in the 70/80s and southern parts of the country are very wet - especially the regions she is traversing now. Those roads remind me of the old days when we loitered around to push vehicles that were stuck during the rainy seasons. Cameroon is very big by land mass and it’s impossible to maintain the local roads. Nevertheless, it’s a very rich and fertile land and very diverse; hence, Cameroon is known as mini Africa. Waiting in suspense for what happened next!
Why is it impossible to maintain the roads? Could they not build tarmac / asphalt / paved road?
@@soundbeans It sure seems like building better roads would benefit everyone.
Wait so are those people who come to help her just waiting around to help people!? I made a joke to myself saying “it’s like these people are just waiting in the grass to come help her”. apparently I wasn’t joking! 🥹

You grew up in Cameroon in the 70/80s? I bet you that after 50 years things have not improved yet and it is still as bad as ever!! Impossible to maintain the local roads as Cameroon is very big by land?? Are you kidding? There are bigger countries with more diverse and difficult terrain and bigger land mass and yet their roads are well maintain. So stop giving excuses for Cameroon...just admit that like in most African countries even though they are rich in natural resources, their infrastructure is just simply atrocious and non-existence as they are run by a bunch of corrupted politicians who live in big palaces and drive around in their luxury vehicles. It is sad but unfortunately it is the reality.

In that moment when the bike fell over, I gasped and took a deep breath. I felt helpless for you. It was such an intense moment. Glad that gentleman walked up and was able to help.
