You have to understand that some Africans are told certain things about us before they come to America...they are told to stay away from us when they get to America...We as African Americans don't give a damn they're not on our minds...we have our own things going on that we are dealing with in America

If it is such a rumor, then why are we so divided as a people? I see it at my job, and I witnessed it in Africa. We have a strong misunderstanding of each other as a whole and it needs to stop. We have. O business mergers on any platform. It does exist and we need to do something about it.

We will be alright, just be proud to be part of this black generation we want to rebuild home (Afrika) we are so rich we even made the entire world developed and we still have more resources than any other continent. There are cultural, historical, economic, social and linguistic differences between and African- Americans. Educational differences plays a large role with the dichotomy between Africans and African Americans. In America some Africans have been discriminated in the main stream due to their accents. It can also happen in Africa. Fair and balance. It’s only unity and understanding that can mend the divide!

  • @calpag
    @calpag Před 6 měsíci +1

What you stated about the honesty of Africans is also true of African Americans. It is a cultural thing. In fact, I just hired an African American to perform work for me. I gave him a $1500 down payment. He walked away and did not return. When you say someone overcharges you, that is just competition. If the price of an object is not marked on it, then it is open to bidding. You should offer a price, and they will probably accept it. It is not dishonesty. You would do the same.

To the gentleman: We can’t keep blaming the colonizer for our problems.
I’m glad you mention that you have some trauma living in USA .. Please leave the victim mindset in USA. Africans see MOST people as an opportunity especially if you’re not from there. Even Africans who go to visit home from the west face the same issue with locals wanting to take advantage of them. It’s up to you to know the price of anything before you go, Learn to negotiate or have someone do it for you!
19:02 : as a black American woman, the only reason people will view you as an escort is based off how you dress and probably the medias portrayal of African American culture.. when you do visit these conservative countries, try to cover up a little. Once again, these limiting ideas about the perception of black women not deserving luxury are mostly American ideology perpetuated by racism, segregation..
22:09 … Sir, please leave the savior mindset at home.. prostitution has been around from the beginning of time and isn’t going anywhere. America has it worse..
24:48.. once again, I wouldn’t believe anything a prostitute says especially if you’re in Africa and they see you as an American with dollars, the sad stories care automatic but do you and keep playing a Richard Gere in pretty woman 😄
29:22.. reality about black American women dating Africans is that African men are more traditional and expect that from their women too. You might not be experiencing the full spectrum of the relationship till he actually settles in. A lot is required from you also, so don’t think you are enjoying the benefits of a masculine man without offering any femininity..
    Great conversations!

The lady in red wants to have fun so her experience is different, she tries and listen to the local ladies here she will know what’s on the ground and a lot of things.
The male on the other hand has a family and it’s easygoing for him. So you will understand where both are heading. If you focus on family you will know who to move with but if you want to be on the street it’s different.
Besides diasporas makes the local feels they know more than them, so the local shut up and watch you but if collectively they are ready to listen to each other and learn it will be the easier way to merge.

Great conversation but "having "SHOES" didn't mean you were not in Slavery in the U.S.! I don't where you got that from but it isn't true. America is a environment where the seasons change unless you are in Florida or California, you deal with moderately harsh or harsh conditions that includes icy rain and snow in the winter months. Cotton is harvested in the winter in the Midwest and the South. It was the main crop. So you had to have shoes, it's cold the grounds sometime freeze etc. You can't work without shoes. They got shoes once a year mostly hand me downs. It was Cotton and Black Americans inventions to speed up the production to be able to mass process it that created the INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION that made England and the U.S. the wealthiest nations in the world. It is important to Black American children that our HISTORY remains accurate. It under attack and being claim by everyone but who it belongs to, Black Americans. Kids went without shoes in the summer. So that is a misnomer and shouldn't been taught. They seem to have more and more foreigners teaching Black American History in our schools to deliberately mislead our kids.

oya shift, talking about Nigerian men are protectors and insinuating that Ghanaian men are not. If you are protectors like you say you are come collect all the many young girls from Nigeria flooding into Ghana streets doing prostitution. What you fail to understand is in the context of that lady probably dressing in skimpy clothes and in that part of Accra street obviously she is gonna get mistaken for an ashawo and that doesn't mean Ghanaian men view American women as sex workers. It's all how you present yourself whether local or foreigner.

You people are here talking shit in Ghana . What you black American do to Africans in The US is very terrible . You could not even advice your people to be calm and love one another but pointing your fingers to Ghanaians . Just even today a black American lady told me that if I play with her I will be dead in the hood . If no one has threaten you in Ghana like I just experienced today in Chicago , then you must be happy and thank God . If Africans treat you like the way you treat Africans in The U S , you will not even have the desire to come to Ghana and Africa .

Ladies what are you talking about, that it’s hard for you to make friends in Ghana who are true friends. You do that in a America also. If you should get into trouble in America, or if you should fall on hard times. Your American true friends would all disappear, that’s Black or White.

No matter where you live it doesn't matter if it's Africa or America...BLACK folks don't have love for each other!!! Jeolousy...hate.and envy and it will never change because they don't want to change...I see it every day...I live in a big city and I have never seen an African hang out with African Americans...they might speak but that's it!!! I have had my share of dealing with some Africans in America...I can tell you some stories but do I dislike Africans? No not at all...I don't think about them like that...I have other sh** to be worried about than to keep my thoughts on them!

Afican Americans are the people who do not like Africans. African Americans has this hate for Africans in America. In the work place ,everywhere. But when they come to Africa we receive them as our own. . It is up to you guys to educate your own peopke. In Ghanai . our culture is when you invite a Ghanaian out the bill is on you. if you make Ghanaiian friend they will always have your back. All this lady does is to complain about Ghana. About ljving in kokrobite that is one of the cheap areas in Accra. there are a lot of cheap but nice and safe areas in Ghana. Do your research. These Sex workers are not Ghanaians bare in mind it is time for the authorities to kick these people out of Ghana. As a Ghanaian it is sad when you guys put Ghana jn a negative way. Ghana is the safest place you can be be Africa.

Sister forget these people, Their slave mentality is the reason why white people don’t like them, They complain about anything,
Every day Africans don’t like them, Today white people don’t like us, Tomorrow Africans don’t like us whole time they’re more racist than white people, Whole time they’re the ones who hate Africans,
Some of them will look you in the face & tell you that they’re Americans they’re not from Africa, You call them bro they’ll tell you that they’re not your bros,
SOME of them are horrible people, They don’t even like themselves, Can’t you see what’s happening in the black community across America, They’re doing each other dirty & blaming it on white people !.

Shitty negative topics like this needs to stop. I’m African American and my late GodMother was Nigerian. I loved her and she loved me. She was truly an awesome person and I did ask her “Is it true Africans don’t like African Americans. Someone told me that.” She responded to me, “some things just don’t need to be said.” then she asked me if I was hungry and if I was in the mood for General Tso’s Chicken.

African people in diaspora send millions of dollar back to Africa. Not to say more can’t be done. I can say this the only thing that is true is what you believe. This show could have been about how we work together. Vs how we don’t. It’s mental right. So instead of talking about division. Talk about unity and spread that energy.
