Oh please 🔮. You have to visit at lease once. You could have easily been born here.
And I'm happy you're seeing it first hand and not through the propaganda of traditional media.
🇿🇦 ≈ Black 🇺🇸 on steroids.
It’s uplifting to see African Americans relishing their time freely in their motherland, unencumbered by the apprehension of law enforcement interrupting their moments of joy. Welcome to the motherland.
Spoken to soon. Don't forget crime
Crime is everywhere... I am not excusing it...but we are more than a sum of crime and loadshedding. So let's not be 1 dimensional and provide a balanced view. I have lived more than 30 years in the US from the Midwest to Santa Monica, Culver City in LA...and there are good parts and not so good parts, experiences, etc. But I find time of value and appreciation in the places and times I am there...Its about options and opening ourselves to experience more than what we are told to. It's choices..but those come when you are exposed and are open to an experience in its totality....😊
@gibson2675 😂😂😂 FBI report for every 30 seconds to a min someone is shot in America, but yet u talking about crime? Unbelievable
@@gibson2675Honely crime is way less compared to the US down here.
Yeah being black is not a sin in South Africa. You're not automatically assumed or suspected to be a criminal just by the colour of skin. Only if you have suspicious actions.
This is really beautiful, the UNITY we need moving forward as black people.
Don't know why i love black Americans so much, maybe it's the music they gave us through the years.
And the movies
Yeah nobody does it better they're on a leaque of their own.
This ones are not actors or musicians
@@mtshedamarunyane5465What do you mean?
@@mtshedamarunyane5465 U so miss the point.
I've been living in South Africa since I quit my morning radio show in Nigeria in 2012. Being From New York City life on the continent is very refreshing once you've overcome certain hurdles.
Wow that's great 🇿🇦

What's to wow at there🙄 Why don't you love to Lagos if you live them that much. You either a woman servicing them or a girlfriend to one of them of if a man a nyaupe seller doing bizness with them🙄🙄

Ashley that's a great recording you have coming. For us as South African people to see how you are keeping and where we can improve to make All Black Americans feel Welcome in South Africa 💐💐💐. Well Done for collaboration of the gathering and recording it to share 🎉🎉🎉
This is sad when you are xenophobic to other Africans. Its a ticking time bomb...just saying.
😮 you're kidding me right!!! 😅😅 that's a shock!! "Ke dizemba". And for a second there I thought "who's this Sotho girl, I thought i tapped on Ashley's thumbnail".

Nice, your setswana accent for "Ke disemba" is so impeccable.

You're racist. Don't start a debate with me. You're racist and oblivious to it.
You wont regret it and we would love to have you here.
You are racist.
Seeing African Americans back home and enjoying this land makes me so emotional. You were literally stolen out of our lives, we didn't know if you'd ever come back. We need you all back home ❤
Ngiyabonga Sisi
Bathong Mzee, where do all Africans originate? Where is the cradle of humankind? Can I as an African not be happy to see another African return to Africa? Aowa bathong, girl bye
@user-bk6gx7sg3j I doubt Monica was trying to appease anyone. Should someone whose ancestors were stolen from West Africa many centuries ago and was born and bred outside the continent automatically feel that West Africa is home? I don't think so. They can live and work in Joburg, Luanda, Addis Ababa or Dakar and call it home, and still acknowledge that their ancestors are from West Africa whether they want to have another home there or not. Many of us born and bred on the continent have two homes - our ancestral one and the one where we live and work in the capital city of any country. Both of them are home. Similarly, Africans in the diaspora, as natives of the continent, should feel free to come back and live anywhere they want on the continent as a first or second home. I am very proud of those who make the decision to make any part of the continent their home.
@@user-bk6gx7sg3jyour comment is unnecessary and immature.
Their ancestors were given out by their village leaders in West/Central Africa in exchange for the Bible... When slavery was abolished, they had a choice to come back to Africa and start over, but they didn't because they now saw America as their home.
No one stole anyone.
I honestly love this trend and hope you are in it for the long haul. This is how we rebuild the continent ♥️♥️♥️
Hmmm Refiloe 💯
I know they are living their best life, and soon i will B2❤❤❤

The Garden Route is beautiful because of white people, the businesses, restaurants, etc that they created, without them it would be a shit hole.

Hello Ashley it is good to see people of color from America and Africa come together to get to know each other, learn to do business, exchange notes to grow businesses there in Johannesburg, S. A. 😅 good vlogs. 😅
We call ourselves Black people. The people of color thing is new to me. White is also a color isn't it.
Hmmm but anyway I'm learning. 🤔
Why SA women don't want to mix with other african women.. yu'll never see SA women friending with other african women here on south Africa 😢😢
@@LuckyJudaz it's mostly a language barrier. Secondly, our African sisterlike to to keep to themselves because apparently South African woman are uncultured. And lastly, foreign African women have low self-esteem. (I'm sorry to say)
Can’t wait to get there
And make you capture it.
You will be blown away as you land at O.R. Tambo International Airport.
Ashley is telling the truth
When is the best time to travel there?
Beginning of September.
1 September is our 'Spring' Day. Feels more like summer though. Our Summer is from September right up until March.
It's nice to spend Christmas at the beach - no Santa Clause.
That's a beautiful estate. Damn.
Let me give this a LIKE.

Hi Ashley please tell our African American brothers and sisters in the U.S.A to start packing to come back home to the Mother Continent and start building it Economically and be the number one it deserved . Let me tell you our Mighty Heavenly Father created this Continent first and others followed.

African Americans must realise that South Africa home as far as South Africans are concerned. I believe the government must bestow automatic citizenship to any African American who requests it. The white establishment has discriminated against us over centuries, now we must build our own empire, culture and civilisation. Much love ❤️
it would be an excellent idea, all blacks, even those from the Caribbean, however, citizenship immediately
@lastpreacher9093 That Bill will not even make it to the desk of the president on one important fact: preferential treatment on the basis of Race, and not necessarily as a way to undo past injustices suffered by South African people. It's unfair discrimination that cannot be justified therefore fails the constitutionality test.
Hayi suphapha wena. Knowing how xenophobic specifically black SAns are do you know how devastating that would be. Unemployment is at 40%. 50% of the country is below the poverty line. Poor black SAns deserve to be put 1st. We can collaborate but giving free citizenship is a terrible idea. Plus AAs are from West Africa and Central Africa. SA was not complicit in the slave trade. Lets focus on Cape Coloured SAns who are descendants of chattel slavery in the Western Cape before we roll out the red carpet for foreigners.
I'm Ndebele with clear origins from SA but living as a foreigner here bcz I'm Zimbabwean, if only that statement can include people like us we will appreciate.
@@nomveloncube6397 Exactly my point Nomvelo. Can you see how hypocritical it is. To have contempt for your own black African brothers and sisters but then welcome with open arms black Americans. Makes no sense.
Am curious to know more about the lady with the red cap. She says she has a daughter called Wangeci. Is she kikuyu or she's married to a kikuyu?
