- In this episode, we hike the crazy Beehive Trail in Acadia National Park!! This trail is more of a climb than a hike; using iron rungs, bridges, and ladders to get you up the side of the mountain. Certainly not for the faint of heart! The rest of our day is casual van life fun.
Stick around for more good vibes, good hikes, and van life craziness.

Lol. This looks amazing! You can find me on the shore path.🤣
Thanks for your video. I now want to do this. It's on my bucket list.
Love Beehive its a favorite around here and truly beautiful in the morning. Good video
Beehive is something else huh?? Such an awesome hike. Thank you
I'm visiting Acadia in a few weeks and your videos were super helpful! Great content, thank you for sharing!!
Woo that's awesome! Acadia is beyond beautiful. It is a place that will always have my heart. Have a great time!!
I just did this hike a few days ago and I didn't expect it to be so scary. It's mostly mind over matter because it's not that physically challenging, but there about 4 areas that I was like...."oh my god."
@@XxTheTrueCrimexXI agree
That hike looked intense. Thanks for another awesome video!
It’s an awesome hike! A must do if you’re ever up in Acadia! Thanks for watching ✌🏼
my hands sweat so much watching this 😭😭😭
I did the Beehive many years ago and I was exactly how this woman was on the trail. She even says the same things I said. It was cool but never again.
Love love love 💖
love love
good video.
Beautiful place
Yes we love it!
I’m going to Acadia in August and I really appreciate this video. As someone who is semi scared of heights and also cried on a Ferris wheel....it was nice seeing that she could do it. Gives me hope that I can too. 🤪💕
Kate doesn’t love heights either, but she powered through! You can do it!! Please report back to us in August how your trip is, we love hearing about other people’s acadia experience.
I also cry on the Ferris Wheel….it’s terrifying! 🥹❤❤
@@workingforthevan9280 I totally forgot to come on here until I just saw someone else comment...it was amazing. Acadia was beautiful and we made it to the top of Beehive after only a few tears lol!
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Just discovered your channel and am enjoying the videos. Hope you're okay.
Great video. Acadia looks absolutely beautiful. I'm planning a trip there for next October. Beehive and Precipice are my number 1 and 2 on my bucket list. Just subscribed.
Acadia is stunning! Beehive and Precipice are fantastic, as are SOOO many other trails in Acadia. Thanks for hanging! More fun coming.
Also check out Jordan cliffs.
Definitely a must! I have been going up to Acadia for over 20 years now (since I was a child) and have never actually hiked Jordan Cliffs... I have been on just about every other trail except for that one. Jordan Cliffs is number one on our list for next summer!
@@230mps Yes don't forget Jordan cliffs, loved it!
how is it not crowded? we had a line in front and behind us 10/9/22
Can you hike up the way you came down? I’m afraid of exposed drops but would love to see the view from the top. What was the trail you came down called
Yes you can hike up the way we came down! To be honest, not entirely sure what the name of that trail is. But when you get to the split right at the yellow warning sign, keep going straight (instead of turning right to head vertical) and just follow that trail/signs for the beehive! The view up top sure is beautiful.
