Haha you should do it, I'd watch it, interested to see your approach on it. A lot of people had questions about the internal connection and a balanced cable for them. Cheers to us two being the only ones with a youtube review video of the retail version of the Audeze MM-100's. [edit: just saw you posted it...gonna go watch now]

Do you know if the MM-100 is compatible with other Audeze earpads? I love the headphones but I find the pads too shallow for long listening.

My DAC/Amp has 2.5mm balanced output. I haven't been able to find any balanced 3.5mm to 2.5mm cables.

I got you, get this 3.5mm balanced cable (amzn.to/3r1H9eD) and connect one end to one side of the headphones, then get this 3.5mm to 2.5mm balanced adapter (amzn.to/49KXO7A) and connect the 3.5mm audio cable to the female 3.5mm end and then connect the 2.5mm end to your DAC/Amp. #affiliatelinks

Did you just try getting a dual entry 3.5mm cable To an XLR BALANCED CABLE

Do you mean a dual entry 3.5mm TRS cable? If so, no I didn't because that will only give you three of the four channels required for balanced. Both connectors on the earcups are wired up up in parallel with each side having all four required channels for balanced connection (R+, R-, L+, and L-). Sticking in a 3.5mm TRS cable into the earcup connector will only get you three of those channels.
