The Boltyn deck needed to block and set up a big combo though… because it didn’t block, it got hurt to bad and had to block later in the match. Maybe replay this match with some soul shields and sinks. Mana pot too maybe. So you can have resources sitting. Maybe helm of the Sharp eye to be that extra defense and play that turn?

fai turn1 after playing phoenix flame, combat chain was closed, I do not get it..
You need to close combat chain to have opportunity to use Fai ability
no mask of momentum also
Yeah, you don't have to break the chain to use Fai's ability as it is Instant speed, yet, sometimes this is beneficial in order, as here turn 1 to get the Phoenix Flame already on the combat chain, back into his graveyard, to be able to be brought back to life with Fai's ability later in a new combat chain sequence. Hope that makes sense.
@@FaBrikaTCG Don’t you have to play a non attack action in order to close the chain? I don’t think you can just say you close the chain and then play another attack action as if it was a new chain
He wanted to fetch the bird in the same turn. Needs it in the yard to work
