I'm actually amazed on how fast they do the dress right dress to ready front. My flight isn't exactly bright and we have to hold dress right dress for 1-5 minutes

Wow! Super sharp cadets. Great job! One slight correction in wording, though. She said, "...with the exception of the guidon bearer..." when there is no guidon bearer in the formation. The guidon bearer is the person carrying the guidon. If no guidon is carried, that cadet is called the guide. Thanks for the excellent video!

I only saw one issue. They didn't dress-right-dress immediately upon falling in, and when they were falling in, they clearly didn't "move with a purpose" but other than that, very impressive display for AFJROTC.

I did Army JROTC for 4 years (3rd year as company commander, 4th year as asst instructor/drill team commander). This was some excellent drill sequence. You have to want to listen, practice, prep, and execute to training to get to this level. It can be done from 1st year. Great job here.

Very nice job. Some of your flight commanders commands are a little hard to understand. It sounds like she is saying "HUT" for her command of execution on several of the commands. Someone else's comment was correct about the guide/guidon bearer. Other than that, this team is very sharp, stellar performance. Your instructors must be proud.

I was never in jrotc but in BMT you are taught to get thinking of what comes next after hearing the prepatory command. So when you hear "column right" you think of what you should do once you hear the command of execution, in this case it would be "harch." Drill is fun and easy if you know what you are doing so just always think of what you should be doing and quite simply don't take a lot of time to execute the movement.

In my JROTC Unit everybody has to do it at least once, with the exception of freshmen. The only thing I’m confused by is the guideon for the fourth element. Usually she would be at the back of the flight as an extension to the 4th element. Does anybody know why she’s in front instead? (3rd year cadet, pardon my stupidity)

Bingalo check out our website at www.afjrotc.com. We are a Citizenship Development program. Title 10 / Congressionally mandated. We offer academic, drill team/color guard, marksmanship as well as Flight Academy programs for our cadets. Our cadets are highly sought after for college and service academy scholarships and cadets work hard to improve their school, communities and our nation. This program is also free to anyone who wishes to join and fully participate. Yes this is a high school program and over 200 schools are on a waiting list to get a program. Air Force Junior ROTC is one of the top youth programs in this country.
