How to Replace Shocks // 99 Chevy Prizm

Replacing shock absorbers & strut assembly is a fairly easy process. I suggest replacing the entire assembly, compressing the springs can be very difficult.

On the plus side you did a very good job of getting out of the way so the video actually shows you removing/installing the strut. Most others don't show that as well. The bottom bolts torque is 203 according to a number of sources.

Good, noticeable improvement over speedbumps. These have outlasted the car, she's starting to putter out. This was my doordash vehicle in Seattle area, so it took a beating.
