- Hry
I could listen to these stories for HOURS.
Yes. It's dangerous to be watching these at midnight. Before you know it, it's 3. lol
Yea me too
Yup. I do & I am.
Btw 69th 👍 😏
Yep so could probably benn the the thing I've watched the longest today
I could sit and listen to these stories all day and then some. Richard as alot of them. I hope you have him on the show again. Sure do miss my Hero Dale Sr. 3
Thanks for Sharing 👍
Yeah the list of fans of Sr seems to continue to grow which was shown by the show of support the black #3 got at the all star race and Jr got a lot of support and some more fans with not only his Cup car throw back paint scheme from his late model racing days especially with him bringing out his current race team's (which he owns) late model car which also had the throwback paint scheme 😊😅😮😂❤
Dale Sr. saying "we started it together, we'll end it together" with the temptation of better equipment; race teams, is a level of integrity that I don't think we'll see anytime soon from the current generations of racers. That's a dying breed.
Max Floyd ...”integrity” is a quality that passes by so many and that’s sad!
True loyalty
Kind of reminds me of Kyle Larson at Ganassi at the moment. Hopefully Kyle’s loyalty pays off just as much as Dale’s did.
@Ethan Weeter Very true about larson.. i hope it pays off for him but it would be flat awesome to see him drive one of rick's cars
Loyalty is a quality that’s as hard to find as commonsense anymore.
Not very common.
I have so much respect for Richard Childress. He loved driving, but the was willing to step out of his own car and put Earnhardt in because he knew Dale was a far better driver. Then he was willing to let Dale go because the team wasn't doing well, but Dale refused. Richard was SO deserving of the Hall of Fame induction!
Absolutely!
I'm thinking that most anybody who has ever been put in to the Nascar Hall of Fame has been very deserving of the honor 😊😅😮😂❤😂😊❤
U up in😅
I have lost all respect for richard
My respect to RCR will never end. He is a class act.
Jr. has grown into such a kick ass interviewer in these last several years. Nothing compares to his relatability and his delivery. You can feel how much he cares about the sport, the history, and the direction of NASCAR's future. He is so refreshingly genuine. JR FOR PRESIDENT!
Yep. Harvick saying he was stunting the growth of the sport was ridiculous. Dale Jr is one of the best things to happen to NASCAR since his daddy 👍
Man I wish Dale Sr was still here 😣😢
The Dale Jr Download might be the best podcast going. Love hearing the old guys tell stories of NASCAR's old days. Would love to hear from Dave Marcis, Bobby Allison and Richard Petty.
Richard is a true Gentleman...Southern Gentlemen.
👍👍👍👍
Neal E. Kaufman He is that Neal a real racer & a true gentleman (case closed)mo....
I’d love to see RC back on the podcast again. He’s got a lot more stories in him.
I doubt in 20/30 years the stories from present day NASCAR will be as good as these and other stories we hear on this podcast. I could listen to these stories for hours.
I'm lucky to be an old guy now, and I just want to say that entire yellow & blue team gave me some of my greatest memories. When the car turned black I knew Dale, Richard, and the boys were going to step it up a couple clicks and they didn't disappoint us fans.
RC is a man’s man I’d be honored to meet him and shake his hand!
I LOVED this. Bring RC back every week!
Keep doing this JR. Its gold.
"I don't care about Geoff Bodine's little opinion. If my car is right, I'm out front and gone. If it's not, I do what I have to to get out front."--Dale Earnhardt, 1987.
My favorite quote from Dale 😂 Every time I hear the name Geoff Bodine, it's all I think about.
Great how Dale gets him talking about those tough subjects. Don't hold back now, give us the goods. GREAT INTERVIEW
This was awesome! I just love Richard Childress and all his stories. Need an autobiography
We definitely need another longer episode with more stories from Richard Childress. @DaleJr @DirtyMoMedia loved this episode, hungry for more.
Please start putting the whole podcast on youtube
I second this motion! @DaleJr
Yes please do they are great.
I #3 the motion!! I love the stories about back in the day when racing was RACING!!
@@stageforgejon905 we need to go back to the old rules
@@PSNxFTWxRAGOI yes sir I agree! Anymore it's not even racing! All my heros have either retired or God rest his soul #3 Dale Earnhardt Sr. Are no longer with us! I don't know who to cheer for cus they keep switching teams! It's not worth it to me to even watch it anymore! I catch the highlights and I'm good
“We started together we’re gonna end together” that mind set that camaraderie thru the good and bad times that is what I no longer see in todays NASCAR. Luv listening to DirtyMo thanks
Childress is an awesome dude. I talked to him at a party for Sterlin Marlin at a bar/restaurant in the Poconos (the name of which is gone from my brain due to the passage of time), and I while talking to him I said - *sigh* - "I remember you running the Truxmore #90 car when I was a kid." He politely replied "That was Dick Brooks." I immediately realized my mistake, and said something like "oh man, I'm so sorry, you're right," and he just brushed it off with a "oh, it's no problem." We laughed about it, talked for a couple more minutes, and then both went our separate ways. It was a very cool interaction.
Love the podcast dale. As a huge fan of your dad and nascar when I was growing up, I love hearing these interviews with the legends of the sport. Keep them coming!
Thank you for keeping these stories and memories alive. I'm sure a lot of this is tough for you. Thank you.
More great stories. Great stuff as always !
Love it, nice vlog , makes me fill right at home , I love ol, story’s , reminds me of my Dad and his buddy’s talking driving around the desert 🌵 in a old 55 Chevy, me setting in the back seat handing them beers, nice good ol days, thanks DaleJr,Mike ,and Richard. ThanksBigAlCalifornia.
Absolutely best interview ever!
Dale jr. Download and Dirty Mo radio does it again it doesn't get any better than this Dale jr. And your team keep up the good work and maybe someday you will give a shout out to Newfoundland Canada you have a lot of fans up here when love Dirty Mo radio and the Dale jr. Download
L
Richard Childress' words before words with Kyle Busch. "Hold my watch"
Great podcast. I could listen to Richard talk all day!
I think it was the best show so far......need Rick's side now also. Just need more time with Richard. He is an interesting personality.
Great interview. really found myself enjoying it.
Awesome stuff, Jr and Richard!!
He never took anyone out... They might've backed into him.... lmao
that was my only negative about Earnhardt, wrecking people, he was too good a driver to need to do that
@Ethan Weeter If u watch some of the other Jr. Podcasts where he had Terry Labonte on show... Terry said he would always go on hunting trips with Sr. but after that wreck at Bristol it took some time to get over... But they are racers & its what they do... Even Sr's worst enemy had respect for him. To wreck or move people out of line as much as Sr. did & to be respected as he is today or even at the end of his career speaks to his skill as a driver & what the type of man he was off the track... I would bet if he drove like that yet was a dick off the Track the racers would've hated him... yet any story you hear about Sr. especially when it comes to off the track stuff he really was a class act. Hes the type of man we are desperately missing in todays society.
people tend to forget many off these old school guys to get where they are at it was win because you had to buy tires for the next race kind of thing.
He just rattled their cages
@@jasonrobbins7143 most of the time he didn't wreck people for the main, he moved them. That's why they had respect from pears. Rusty is unlikable Bodie to so wrecking them was only unpopular with fans no the paddock
I am really glad I found this on CZcams !!
I could listen to these stories about dale sr all day long. I sure wish someone would make a movie about the life of dale sr. I miss the days when I was excited to get home from church and turn on nascar. Thanks for the memories dale sr & jr 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
As a northern boy who didn't get into it until early to mid nineties, I really like these interviews when they touch on the 70s n 80s. Wish I would have realized how great the sport was.
Love the 3
Absolutely love the stories have been a fan of RCR since this all started early 80s love it
They were getting Richard fired up! 😂 I love it!
Fantastic show as usual
This was a good one Dale! Glad you had Richard on the podcast.
Absolutely love this interview! I could sit and listen to these stories for hours on end. I sure wish the Intimdator was still around to join in! One of my favorite movies is Days of Thunder and I never knew it was based on Dale and Geoff's "theatrics."
New to the sport?
And Cole Trickle was based on Tim Richmond and Rowdy on Dale Sr. Forget who Russ Wheeler was based on.
Man I really had fun listening to you guys, Junior i could tell you were having fun too.You absolutely must get Richard Childress back on the show for more stories about your Dad and himself...Great memories!!!!! I sure do miss Dale Sr as we all do..I miss seeing you on the track to Junior...
i wanna hear the full podcast D:, i could listen to richard and dale all day,
i will always be a richard childress fan nothing but respect and love for this man forever3
Thanks, this is good for me, big big #3 fan, the sport has never recovered from that loss. That was RACING!
Great Episode!! Keep up the good work, nice phone holders!
We talked about short tracks and we talk about road courses all that we want.... but I think the most exciting race of the season is the Eldora dirt Derby in the summer with the trucks....
Can we see the cars on dirt again in 2020??
I like Richard, he's a really great guy
Man I love these
I can’t imagine how cathartic this is for Jr. Every one of these old timers are telling him stories about his dad that he never knew. It’s almost like he’s learning who his dad was outside of being his father.
They will tell him all he will ask about and listen to. They are all huge fans of the Intimidator as well and love to talk about the old days.
I remember when all of that went down.....it was just racing...good ol days..but thay worked it out...good times
That was enjoyable!
Man I love the stories,I thought i knew most of the stories about days of thunder I didnt know it was about Dale an Geoff @ the restaurant good stuff
Things got heated between those two guys in the mid '80s. It might have started in 1986 at Daytona. Bodine won, Dale Sr. ran out of gas. Riverside in 1987, Earnhardt ran over Bodine trying to get around him. He might have pushed Bodine at Charlotte in The Winston before Bill Elliott turned Bodine around, I don't know. Things got real nasty in 1988 at Charlotte. Earnhardt spun out Bodine in the Busch race and wrecked him. Then there was the Cup race, Bodine gave Earnhardt a tap out of turn 2. Going into 3 Earnhardt didn't turn the car, he spun Bodine and put him in the fence. What's worse is more cars got involved. So Sr. got parked for 5 laps. Bodine, Earnhardt, Hendrick, and Childress all got called to Daytona. That's where the meeting came from.
LMFAO' The Intimidator and The Agitator! I love these old stories!
I would love to hear Richard's side of the story, when, at Richmond, he tells Dale not to pit because Richard doesn't want to lose the track position. Dale answers, "I'm gonna be off the radio for a few minutes" and Richard sees Dale, sitting on the door sill, cleaning the windshield, down the front stretch, under caution.
King 43 that was funny 😆
Im so glad i started watching Nascar in 1995. Wish i got hooked earlier! What an age...
Great stuff!!!!
Add this to the top of the amazing interviews this year! Great job everyone 👍🏻
I agree completely Bob.... I have been completely intrigued with the guests all year so far ... love the old stories
Best podcast ever I love listening to the stories about Dale Earnhardt and Neil bonnett those are legends right there bow and so is Richard Petty all three of them guys including Dale Earnhardt Jr ever got my respect those were my idols
I so love this.
That whole feud between Sr an Bodine made the intimidator
Love this show
It just makes me miss my papa brashier and the old stories he used to tell me about.
My 2 favorite guys on this earth!
PRICELESS TREASURED MEMORIES FOREVER 💞🤗💞🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🏁🏆🏁
Gotta have Childress back! He's a riot. Keeps saying he's got more stories, lol!
LOL AWESOME PODCAST!!!
ps: get Richard and all the Dogs on the show as much as possible.
Richard is a good man to have for a friend. Good man to have for a Grandpa too.
Buddy Baker made a live by the sword die by the sword comment calling that Pocono race. As Rusty Wallace fan I was hoping Dale would get out and complain about what Jeremy did. He was not pleased but he knew, and was pretty good about it.
Sorry but how in the fooOOOK does this only have 300k views?? These people are legends... I don't even watch Nascar anymore. Last race I watched was Talladega Nights BUT Stories that shape what it is to be an American are these stories and they die when they aren't told. Dale Sr was no smaller then Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, Muhammad Ali, Babe Ruth, The Serena sisters, and that guy from that team that won alot but we all know who they are and all about their life story. Especially in today's climate where people don't highlight the real influencers of proud Americans just the ones influencing the weak haters of this great country.. is an insight that is so priceless. Thanks 😊 🙏 my family were not fans of yours but I was. They liked rusty lol Loved your dads toughness and the all or nothing approach matched with undeniable talent. #3
Im from Jersey and we were at pocono for that race, Boy was my old lady pissed!
It’s funny how certain things like Dale and Geoff feud NASCAR saw as bad for the sport but in my mind these kind of things add drama & excitement. Kinda like the famous fight with Cale Yarborough & Allison’s. Like wow this is cool ! I have not watched much NASCAR in years but I’ve been really enjoying these podcasts and old stories.
That's cool stuff.
full eps on CZcams would be great!
Heck yea. They should put our clips and then the full episode after that.
$10,000 smile..every weekend and I loved to see that ..miss ya ol boy..damn great driver and father
watched this yesterday on msnbc sports. doesn't hurt to watch again. i wonder if Geoff Bodine is gonna be the show this year as a guest to hear his side.
I love the Clyde Torkel Chicken Pit sign!!!!
That’s so funny to me that Bill actually set two legends down and said “you’re not gonna destroy this sport..” little did they know what he thought after that.. “cause that’s MY job!”
Not that much on pod cast but these interview videos are great. Fox needs to give you a full show.
Michael chapman fox would ruin it they would tell him what to talk about, this is the perfect way for him to do this I think. Even though he would be great on a network show I think this would be better
Dale Earnhardt: The man with a $10,000 smile. LoL!
Richard Childress is a good man. I think he took Dale's death harder than anyone. A true friend...all the way. It doesn't get any better than this!
Dale, you need to get Danny Myers on the show sometime in the near future too...
Jason Breininger good ole Chocolate
Chocolate was one of the mainstays of the junkyard dogs.
👍 awesome team
The good old days, I could listen to the legends tell these stories all day
Damn guys more more more yea I'll wait do it
Jr. awesome stuff.
I wish I could've been a fly in the back window when Dale Earnhardt and Geoff Bodine had to ride to dinner together in a rental car! I've always heard after Bill Jr helped Dale and Geoff sort their never ending feud out that the two of them loved to talk each other up about fishin'!
Rcr owner wow, just amazing events god bless
Richard Children's son...Ricky Children's... were high school classmates in Winston-Salem,NC...at Parkland H.S.,Class of 1976...great classmate.
Typo...Childess.
Typo..Childress
Gotta love Richard If I was in nascar that’s probably the guy I would want to drive for
RCR FOR LIFE
MORE PLEASE !!!!-!--way to short . where can I see the whole show ? Anyone know
My 2 hero's
i was at that race in pocono with mayfield. that was a big deal ;O)
All the salty fans of other racers from the 80s and 90s who talk crap about Dale’s character obviously never listened to the stories of the people closest to him. Nobody is perfect on this earth we are all flawed but this story alone tells you what a stand up guy he was.
Love story's about Dale Sr
How do we find the entire video broadcast? I want to watch the interactions.
There is on nascar site ad for no remorse movie, I am not into scary movies, I cried at ole yeller and at trigger country songs but I watch and listen to end.
