I found out you can try to conceive early in ovulation, and you will increase your chances in producing a girl child. The female sperm survive longer and can make it to the egg when it's farther away. The male sperm can not. I tracked my ovulation and we only tried to conceive on the first day of ovulation. I got pregnant the first month. I lit a lot of pink candles and prayed for my daughter Ayla to come to me. It worked. I broke the family curse because 2 more girls were born in the family after my daughter.
When my sister, cousin and I were born, we were the first girls in our family for more than 300 years. Unfortunately, for the next generation the family went back to just boys.

Lol, I come from male dominant parents on both sides. So did my ex . I " had" to switch guys,lol, but I did get a girl. She made her grandpa's last days joyful as she was his 1st granddaughter.
I knew I was the first girl since my great-grandfather’s generation. I never thought about how many years that was though, so I just looked at my genealogy charts so I could do the math. My great grandfather had a sister born in 1883. I was not born until 87 years later. That is in the direct line of a huge Catholic family, but I’m pretty sure it was about that long that there were no female cousins that weren’t adopted. In my cousin group, I was the first born, then ten boys, a girl, and then another boy! I always thought this was such an interesting genetic quirk, even more interesting because, since men are contributing the Y or second X chromosome, it’s only genetics when families have all boys. If they have all girls, it’s a coincidence, not genetics, as there would be no men in the family to pass that gene down. My first cousins have managed to have a few girls, and my three times great-grandfather had five! So if you are a woman marrying into a family like mine, don’t give up hope! 😀
I have 5 girls...a 14 yr old granddaughter from one daughter, a almost 4 yr old granddaughter ,and twin girls from my middle daughter, my oldest can't have kids, and only my youngest is planning on kids. A boy would be so weird! Time will tell lol, girls are great so not too concerned.

My family has a weird thing too. First borns of a generation are usually girls. My grandma had a first born sister, my mom was the first born in her generation, I was the first born female in my generation, my cousin had the first born of our generation being a girl too. Meanwhile in my dads side every other generation will get twins, my grandfather was a twin. My dads generation had zero twins….now I’m scared 😂
