  • In this video I show how to make Do-It-Yourself guitar accessories: guitar slide, capo, guitar mute (string muter), guitar pick and guitar pick holder.
    First I show how to make a guitar slide. You will need a just glue stick and a knife.
    The second DIY - guitar mute (string muter). I made it out of felt.
    The next handmade guitar accessory - guitar capo. You will need a pencil and rubber bands.
    Next tutorial is super easy - how to make a guitar pick. All you'll need is a plastic card.
    The last tutorial - guitar pick holder with just two plastic cards and super (strong) glue.

      I mean, it's possible, but the tone that comes from the red pencils suck, and you'll just be screwing up your sound for no reason

When I was starting out I was only 12 years old and my parents wouldn't take me all the way to the nearest Sam ash or guitar center just to buy picks and a capo. These videos would have really come in handy then. Very creative dude! Don't listen to the haters, they're just mad that they haven't thought of it first.

    Have three of these already. Pencil-capos and picks are fine this way, and my slide is made of an actual bottleneck. Though I usually store my picks in my scratchplate, which is a bit loose, and I'm in no need for a muter.

  • @HaydenofEverything
    @HaydenofEverything Před 6 lety +2

    I personally didn't think of the glue stick slide until I bought one off of Sweetwater. I can just mute with my picking hand if you can just use felt. The capo didn't work when I first tried it, so I decided to buy a Kyser Quick-Change. I have plenty of picks, so building a pick is kinda obscure. I can just buy a pick holder as well. This video is still conventional for DIYers
