I know that first OTR trip is stressful but don't trip on the little things. It gets easier everyday. Just don't get too comfortable bro, shit can go sideways in a second. Keep those wheels rolling!

Congratulations on taking the steps , you gone love driving. After you get permit, When you’re in school , you have 3 test to complete. Pre-trip, skills test, & drive test. It took me 3 weeks & 1 day to get my CDL after getting my permit. I went to school everyday. Showed up 2 hours early. Stayed 3 hours late. I aced every test & got into the trucks as often as possible. Another thing too, is start applying to jobs even before you graduate. I had 4-5 companies waiting on me to graduate. Does that answer your question a little ? Lmk!

How was school and do they help you get everything you need
School was 🔥 bro. There’s lot of instructors. They help you learn backing, skills, road signs, automatic or manual, engine, etc. I went to school 7 days a week because I was trying to learn as much as possible, as fast as possible. I went 2 hours early, stayed 3 hours late. You have 3 test to complete to graduate. . . Pre-trip, skills, & drive test. They will get you right ! Are you thinking about going ?

@@ghomes5462 I would suggest to look up a program in your city that will pay for school (a government funded program). Or go with a company that will train you.

I live in Philly and it's a bunch of stupid drivers on the road. They just love pulling out in front of trucks
