Tvillingarna Marcus & Martinus slog igenom redan som tioåringar i Norges motsvarighet till Lilla Melodifestivalen. Under sitt dryga decennium i rampljuset har de bland annat sålt ut en egen arenaturné i Europa och uppträtt på kronprinsessan Victorias 40-årsfirande med en specialskriven låt.
2016 utsågs duon till "Årets spellemann", det tyngsta priset på Spellemann-galan, som är den norska motsvarigheten till Grammisgalan.
Deras största hit “Elektrisk” håller fortfarande rekordet i Norge som den låt som legat längst på topp 10-listan med sina 66 veckor. Efter vinsten i svenska Masked Singer 2022 har de numera sin bas i Stockholm och arbetar med svenska låtskrivare och producenter.

I have the feeling that, had they performed in any year that not this, they would've won easily. Either way, it's amazing and would've probably won most other national finals 🔥
It is harder to actually win Melodifestivalen than to be in top 5 in ESC.

I think it should be impossible to be sent more than once, loreen 100% had some bias with her. People voting for her because she won for them last year
Even though I’m glad Loreen won, I wouldn’t have minded them winning and representing Sweden at Eurovision at all. This song is absolutely fantastic!

I can't help but feel like they deserved to win this year. Feels like everyone had predetermined that they were going to vote for Loreen without considering this song. I also think they performed much better live, their performance was absolutely flawless while Loreen struggled in the beginning of her performance.

Even after Loreen winning ESC I still wish so much this could have represented Sweden, it is not about trophy but about giving way to young artists and letting all Europe appreciate their talents, I wish these boys good luck and come back again!
No, it's not about young artists. It is not Idol. It is about the best song and this year Loreen had it.
I know that in Sweden it is quite normal for winners to return, for Eurovision, Karola was also the winner of 1999 (forgot her name), but at the age of 39, she returns to the same place again, I don't understand why she does this. Lorin's song lacks some kind of popularity, as it was in 2012, so in 2012 there are no pretensions. It's a pity that the guys are young and not famous, but Lorin took it with experience and popularity, unfortunately

As for the song I dont agree it is not as popular. It has out performed Euphoria on Spotify and has hit the charts all over

Beautiful song and performance. It stood out as an edgier entry among other typical pop songs with calculated performances in MF. I'm happy this performance was noticed. Maybe it will start a new era in MF and bring some originality back. Hope they come back with an even more cool number and win. They have potential.

This is so damn good. What a waste that they only came second because Loreen's the bigger name (I like "Tattoo" but I think this one is more modern und I prefer the staging with the lights and lasers).

This is the second Year in a row we’re not sending a boy. Only males from 2015 to 2021. And this is a really good song with a great lyrics but basiclly still a standard popsong.
