bro that’s one of my biggest gripes with how balancing is (sometimes) done in this game. guns that have been previously touted as the prime examples of the most balanced guns (cough 301) and untouched by respawn for months (years) one day rise up as meta since everything else got nerfed. 🥲

I Snapchat notification noise had me so confused lmao I was cooking and I was wondering why I kept on hearing the notification noise and had nothing on snap🤣
IMO The volt is probably the most balanced SMG in the game, but I would add maybe 2-3 more bullets in a mag personally. I just think with the speed at which it shoots, it could possibly use a small ammo buff to really give it a competitive edge
It kinda sucks that the r99 has fallen off this much, it’s a very fun weapon. Volt may be a good weapon, but I personally love the Prowler. Maybe do a thing where you see how each SMG ranks among the others?
Person lay the alternator with descriptor rounds if you can get a fully decked out alternator it won’t beat a pk up close unless the guy misses a lot of shots but you will win a lot of up close engagements with it

This is so funny because I just started playing this season and I hate the r-99 and I have really really given it’s a fair shake. But the volt, still a gun I don’t run often, but it have saved my life and my game on drop before, then will take me to mid game till I see a nice airdrop or something. I just think since I didn’t even have bias getting into this season, my impression is that the r-99 rips if you have the experience with it, I have seen some nasty kill cams, and my bf is good with it. But the volt will do better dmg without all that brain power wasted on stacking dmg
ik it wasnt really serious but how a kernal lvl anti cheat works is basically for a normal anti cheat say easy anti or battle eye. it boots with the game which is why apex has that splash screen when u click play its booting and AC. but a kernal lvl boots with the pc which is why for valo u have to restart ur pc since vanguard wont boot with the game only on pc launch. this makes it harder to cheat since its alot more invasive on what u open and have running. anti cheats are actually getting quite advanced with AI but its all a matter of how much do we care about privacy vs anti cheat. i believe basically homless did a video about this ai anticheat with a stupidly high correct ban rate but it wont ever be implemented likely due to costs. but cheating is an arms race and unfortunately anticheats are not lookin good. it costs alot to get a good anti cheat and honestly doesnt help that much vs a standard one like EAC or battle eye.

Nemesis Prowler is best if you're on MnK. Playing angles and jiggle peeking roller players is our only hope against AA
Thats doesnt make sense. Full auto AR and shotguns are way better on peek-a-boos coz short peeks wont block mid-burst shots

R99 s20 nerf is like me just increase my sensitivy by adding another 1.5x at my current setting at 800dpi and it feel like the nerf didn't happen

The volt is not that good the ttk is too slow id rather use the prowler or car
R99 this season is one of the worst! Really hard to control, too fast bullets. Hope next season they’ll make it easier to control a little bit
