- I'm so excited to be setting up the DIY cage once again đ This enclosure is a DIY cage that is 48" long, 24" wide and 24" tall (122 x 61 x 61 cm) and in total has 1,152 SQ inches of floorspace (7,432 sq cm).

Another cage setup video?!? I know you guys enjoy them so I hope you donât feel itâs too repetitive đ this enclosure set up also isnât permanent, I suspect Iâll change it up again- Iâve never been amazing at creating setups and try my best to take inspiration from others but sometimes they just donât turn out how Iâd like them to. I also need to pick up some more containers for different substrates as I didnât realize Iâve run out of them! I agree đ seeing so many amazing enclosures on Instagram also puts a lot of pressure to setting up something that is just as good but sometimes we just have to remember we all have different ideas and supplies to setting up our enclosures!

Hi where did you get your Cages also how expensive where they I am thinking about upgrading from a 650 quare inch and do you recommend any other cage brands
@@pastlerobloxs2240 i recommend the large rectangular pawhut (115x60cm) if you live in the UK, it gives them lots of space and it fluctuates in price so you can get it quite cheap

Iâm getting a hamster on Wednesday and iâm so excited, thank you for all your videos and for helping me be the best hamster parent i can be. Also iâm so happy that my parents literally only let me had one now because iâm old enough and that their main concern is how well the hamster is treated. Like my mom literally cried at the thought of us accidentally neglecting a hamster.

always loved animals but you have got me into loving hamsters. I have had a hamster in the past before watching your videos and he was living in a tiny pets at home plastic enclosure with no where near enough floor space. Once I came across ur channel I upgraded his cage to an IKEA detolf with much more enrichment and he lived as a happy hamster. Love the new set up and I hope you and the pets r doing good and waddles is settling in well x

I'm 26 and I never had hamsters in my life. I found your channel prior to getting a hamster and it helped me tremendously! Thanks to you, my Syrian girl Vanilla has a cage with almost 2000sq inches of floorspace, 12 inches of bedding, 2 multichamber hides, 2 houses, a 33cm wheel, sand, coco soil and lots cork logs, branches and sprays. Feels so good to own a pet starting on the right track and that's all thanks to your videos and wonderful hamster care groups. Vanilla and I are very thankful for your content.

Great video!! Today, I went to pet smart with my dad to look at the Robovoski hamsters because I will be getting one soon, and I was disgusted by how much people bought the tiny tales "cages" while I was there. They're more like little kid toys. Thank you for letting us know in one of your previous videos how bad those "cages" are. I will never be getting one and will be buying a huge cage!

Hi Victoria! I absolutely love your cage arrangement videos since Iâm getting my hamster soon and your cages are amazing! Iâm getting a Syrian and itâll live in a detolf, just ordered loads of nite angel products! Tysm for all of these tips Iâm so grateful I found your channel
Sounds really exciting! If you do plan to have a Syrian in the detolf it is recommended to try and have an extended lid so youâre able to put a proper amount of bedding and such đ

@@maxmc7612 Do it, my syrian escaped twice from the detolf, a proper extended lid might have prevented it. Eventually she moved to an even bigger enclosure and my dwarf lives in the detolf now. :)

Hello Victoria, my daughter has a Russian dwarf hamster, and we were wondering what your supposed to do with their scent glands? Our little guy keeps getting nasty gunk on his tummy where his gland is. We would love it you could help us out, and make a video on this or reply Thank you!
You need to see a vet immediately, this could be an infection or something. It is never normal if there inflamed or got stuff coming out. You must not, not take the time a vet because theyâre small.

I just rescued a hamster from someone I know and will upgrade her 186sqinch cage to a 627sqinch cage in about 2 weeks (itâs a second hand terrarium) et and bought a lot of stuff to give her a happy life !

The cage setup is marvellous. I hope waddles is good. Iâm really sorry about Lenny, I just got to know abt it yesterday and these days I just thought that he is fine but your post broke my heart. RIP to that buddy, I just want him to know that he always lives in my heart. I cried so bad for him, the last time I cried was for Bumble the cute baby girl.
