The Duolingo English Test is the newest English proficiency test available for English students to take in order to get an official English score. You usually need to take a test like the Duolingo English Test before you apply to a university or college in an English-speaking country. The Duolingo English Test is made specifically for those who need to receive an official English score to study at a university or college. Itâs similar to the IELTS and TOEFL; however, even though this test is quite new, it is accepted by a lot of universities around the world. You can go to the Duolingo English Test website to find out whether the university you want to attend accepts the test or not.

Thanks Sir, with your extra test material i was able to score a 130 in my english duolingo test (First attempt).I was a bit down because of my GRE verbal section but thanks for the extra mock tests for helping me practice for this test . I got a score of 120! today, in my first attempt.
I had completed all your CZcams videos and I also bought the practice test which helped me a lot. It took me one month for this score. I did my practice regularly and here I am.

Weird question to ask but here it is-
I am attempting to give Duolingo test on my Macbook Pro. The touch bar on my laptop provides auto-correct feature with a word suggestion while I am typing it. It is the feature of the laptop, not any sort of external application or plug-in.
Will this be considered as cheating or I am good to go?

Dear Teacher Luke, thank you for your video, I watched about 10's of yours, did 3 times Duolingo practice test, got 110-130, 105-120, and 110-130.
At the time of the real test, I have a hard time to start the test (download the test for 10minutes, 15minutes, last time I waited until 30minutes, then after 2 days and 3 failed start, I changed my wifi to another provider which then started the test right away...tadaa).
The real test was harder than the practice, especially the "describe the picture" test (which I only able to write 2 sentences, instead my plan 4) and "fill in the blank" test (which sometimes I don't know the answer).
Surprisingly, after sometimes waiting in frustation, I got 120 total result (althou low in production), but since my US uni only need minimum DET 105, I been accepted to my uni. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR ALL OF YOUR EFFORT TO HELP US ALL đđđ

Hello Luke.... I really need ur help... I attempted duolingo test two days back. Today morning I received an email saying that ur test could not be certified due to the following reasons stating that you looked away from the screen from an extended period of time.... I totally agree I might have scrolled my eyes up and down while speaking.... But what will be in the case of writing section where v have to continuously look down to type speedily..... Would looking down on the keypad will b counted as the same mistake..??? Please guide.

No you just choose the real words. You should try the practice test thatâs on the Duolingo test website.
