This writing task is one of the hardest questions on the Duolingo English Test but I have some SUPER TIPS to help you organize your answer.

The Duolingo English test is the newest English proficiency test available for English students to take in order to get an official English score. You usually need to take a test like the Duolingo English Test before you applying to a university or college in an English speaking country.
This new Duolingo English test is made specifically for those who need to get an official English score to study at a university or college. Itâs similar to the IELTS and TOEFL; however, even though this test is quite new, it is accepted by a lot of universities around the world. You can go to their website to find out whether the university you want to attend to accepts the Duolingo English test or not.

A university plans to develop new research
center in your country. Some people want a
center for business research, while others want
a center for research in agriculture (farming).
Which of these two kinds of research centers
would you recommend, and why?

Give two reasons.
- second question example:
In general, people are living longer today.
Discuss some of the implications (consequences) of this
phenomenon?
Tips describe the implications. (Effects - changes)

reasons, examples, facts, results, statistics, or

supporting sentence: First and foremost, taxpayer
money collected by the government is used to fund
basic amenities and public services, such as running
water, schools, and hospitals.
it is important to remember that without taxpayer
money we would not have such basic services and our
lives would be worse off as a result.

I was planning to take Ielts for studies purposes and I just came across Duolingo which came handy for what I need.
I found online many webistes and teachers giving lessons, practical tests and correcting writing tasks for Ielts but I did not find anything like that related to Duolingo. I was wondering if you offer any sort of course or provide any services of reviewing student's writing essays. Again good work!

Although I was kind of scared about the scores but I guess itâs more than enought than what Iâve expected!

try to write at least 10 minutes every day, believe me I got a lot better in both, speaking, and writing , the more you write the faster and more fluent you get !

Really good video! The thing with this test, however, is "If you know, you know." There is no syllabus or a prescription like for IELTS and TOEFL. I'm not a native English speaker, but I have studied in English medium institutions. I recently took the test, with zero preparation. I took one practice test followed by the actual test. I scored 140. DET may be inexpensive but realistically speaking, IELTS and TOEFL have a much more prescriptive approach rather than DET.
