You can see Phyllis dying a little more on the inside with each joke.
F these bots
The dudes actually pretty funny. But that's probably a good gauge for how old man I am. The funnier I find the interactions the older I am
Phyllis!
Poor Phyllis 😂
"Please don't laugh" omfg 😭
Phyllis trying to quietly tell Drew it's ok to hit him 🤣🤣
I KNOW
I loved that!
As a supermarket cashier, I completely get that.
"I'm sorry ma'am, this item doesn't seem to be scanning properly."
"I guess it's free then HAHAHAHAHA"
Nope it means I have no way to sell it to you if it is because the barcode isn't in the system
Or my dad's favorite:
Cashier: your total is $150
My dad: $2 and 80 what now?
Twice or more a week... It's so hard to fake
I have said this before, I am cringing at my past self rn. 😂
Phyllis needs a girls night out with some friends.
With bottomless margaritas!
Bottomless bottomless bottomless margaritas!
@@DrewTalbert One of my favorite ones you've done! But they're all so great it's hard to pick a top ten even. Great stuff!
Get her together with the old ladies!
We need some unhinged GNO with Phyllis!!!
The level of despair on Phyllis's face is GOLD!!! lol
Phyllis' face!!🤣🤣🤣
Best part is Phyllis reactions 😆
Every. Effin. Time. 😂😂😂
Fkn loooool
Her "save me eyes" absolutely brilliant! 🤣🤣 I was actually laughing at some of the jokes haa haa put me down now! 🤣
Lmao
2:11 Phyllis mouthing "Do it. Do it." is perfect.
I love how Phyllis is completely petrified and becomes more mortified as the jokes keep coming.
I like how Phyllis seems to be dying a little more inside with each scene. One day her escape is going to be epic!
Maybe the next time he makes his boxing bit, she can actually give him one of her mean uppercuts, then take off.
@@jaschabull2365 Right lol
He has mastered the fake laugh
It’s a soft skill of service
I love Phyllis reaction.
Phyllis: he gets them from Facebook 😑
I love how progressively more horrified Phyllis gets with each joke !
Dear god, I was in the service industry for way too long. I knew exactly what the joke was going to be every time
Everyone at my work watches your channel now after I showed them a few of your videos. We even have nicknamed different workers using names from workers at your bistro. We have a dude named Jackson who works back of the house and we all call him “pickles” now.
I freaking love this
@@DrewTalbert oh, we love it to. It makes my night when I’m on grill getting slammed and can just yell out “Pickles! Drop those onion rings for table 12!” Keep up what you do! You are next level clever, and your characters are funny and charming
I had a pickles too.
@@andyoli75 I ate a pickle
@@andyoli75I am a pickle
That tattoo/commitment joke was pure gold.. idc what anyone says 😂😂😂
This was a million times more painful as a compilation.
Love it
This is why I don’t joke with the wait staff. Just “yeah mate, food was great, thanks. Here’s the bill and your tip.”
COS THIS IS WHAT YOU LOOK LIKE WHEN YOU *DO* THAT, *DAD*
I don't know if it was Stockholm syndrome, but my gran was a cashier in her retirement job, and she made these types of jokes whenever she was checking out as a customer, with no sarcasm or irony.
Customer service is performative. Being a good customer is also performative. Reading your audience is an art, but so is appreciating a performance. Between the server laughing at tired jokes, the husband/guest making tired jokes, and the wife expressing visible embarrassment for both her server and her husband, who isn't actually cringe? Everyone is trying to be and do good.
When I worked as a server I enjoyed the jokes even the ones I heard a million times.
Lol.🤣🤣🤣🤣
serving is honestly 99% just hard work so having customers throwing corny jokes at you 1% of the time isn't really that much of a drag
it's when they start telling about how proud they are that their kid got into college or something like that that you want to shoot yourself in the head
Just leave the tip with the bill and walkout. No need to announce your tip
Customer: *Tells server the same damn joke 10000000000000000 time*
Server: *Smiles in pain* This is fine
I used to hit them with the final fantasy 10 laugh
You play multiple characters so well I forget sometimes that it’s only one person!!
Pam the mam

Oh my god that was my dad he loved embarrassing all of us. “The meaning of life” was one of his favorite answers or “no thanks I’m driving” when asked if he wanted dessert. I find myself giving stupid answers with my own twist. I miss you Dad! 💝
Phyllis dying on the inside is what makes this so funny.
I have to say, I loved guests like this. And I genuinely find them funny. It's nice to have friendly guests. Makes the work so much more enjoyable. In the end, they just try connect and have a nice evening out, and I appreciate that so much. And again I actually find those guests funny because they are so happy, the family is so annoyed and embarrassed and most of the time they aren't oblivious to the fact that they embarrass them, they torture them on purpose and that is so entertaining.
I guess from my days as a waiter you could make the opposite style of videos. I would make the same kind of jokes over and over again with such guests and we would have a blast. Like if they would clean up their plate " Sir! You can leave the plate, we have other things on the menu!"
Or if they would come frequently there and order the same kind of meal every time, I would make a thing out of recommending that exact dish to them and would compliment them on their choice. Just silly stuff like this and again only with these kind of people. Sometimes it's shallow, heartfelt nonsense that makes life sweeter.
Saaame ! :D Bless your joyful and kind heart !
I thought that he looked nice too. I can see some of those guests that would be annoying if they were kind of smug or mean (I never worked as a server but I worked as a cashier in a border city in which many cashiers came from across the border and spoke with an accent. Some customers would find it funny to imitate that accent and thought they were clever, not realising that they were not just mean but unoriginal) but a friendly dad like that I wouldnt mind .
I would have loved to be your guest ❤
I like your attitude.
It's Love-ly that you are so focused on Joy, Light, Kindness, Compassion, genuine, personal, & Loving human connection with people. 💗
You are a Bright Light in this world, friend. ♥️
And, I'm sure you were a Bright Light in your customers' lives, & are a Bright Light, in the lives, hearts, & Spirits of all who are lucky enough to cross your path.
You are an inspiration!
God bless you. 💗
Phyllis 🤣🤣 even her eyes behind the mask you can tell her dead inside expression lmao!
The waiters in our region of Germany just give you a "eff my life" deadpan Look to combat any small talk attempts from guests which only encourages the hubs to keep trying. It's excruciating. *Sigh*
Haha
That’s German service for you. Zhere will be no tips exceeding two euros zhough
The annoyed af wife is so accurate 🤣
The way Phillis was egging on the waiter to punch him was amazing @ 2:15 😆
"He gets em off facebook!"
I feel personally called out
The waiter is the lucky one. He gets to go home, while the Phyllis' of the world have to keep hearing these jokes for the rest of their lives lol. Or at least the rest of their husbands.
Phyllis was killing me with the light leaving her eyes after every joke LMAO
The long-suffering wife is the thing that really makes this. It's either that or a furiously-blushing teenager aiming for her dad's shins under the table as he makes dad joke after dad joke after dad joke.
OMGosh, I always forget it's only ONE person. My goodness I can't stop laughing. We need to give Drew an oscar.!!! Love him and his channel!!! 😍🐩✌
I only see the character! I don't see Drew. He's an excellent actor!!👍👍
Can I just say how much I love your channel and content? It's amazing, well thought out and I love it. Please continue
Thank you!
Its so nice to get a clean laugh these days. Wokeness killed comedy. All these shorts are so funny. Great work.
:52
Phyllis: "Please dont laugh"
Me: Laughing uncontrollably
At the end **laughter/pain**
Yeah that’s how I feel when I gotta force a convincing laugh at the “million bucks” joke EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
"He get them off Facebook" 😂🤣😂
Usually when people say "but you'll have to wheel me out of here" I always respond I have a wheel barrel in the barn
Same 😑
I tell them we should have an overhead crane that Takes you out to your car 😑
Drew did such a good job I only made it half way through. I just cannot. 😂
Phyllis slowly dissociating from these conversations.
Drew you’re amazing. I want all of your dreams for you and your family to come true this minute. I have decades of serving under my belt - your videos make it all worth it❤️
Thank you, Ashley! I accept that wonderful blessing!
Phyllis is tired 😂
This is also a big cashier thing at the grocery store. (item doesn't scan) "quess its free!" Please no.
The funny thing is the more you watch this the better it gets better you start to feel the waiter's pain lol!
You don't think it'll be you when you're hip and young in your 20s and 30s, but eventually you'll become a dad. "It was terrible *empty plate*" was a classic from my dad and brought many a groan, but he was even cooler than me back in the day lol.
This was my dad when I was growing up. We had to BEG him not to chat up the wait staff! That being said, I've definitely used the "Clearly I hated it" joke while pointing to an empty plate once or twice myself.
i used to work retail & there was this time during the holidays when our scanners just refused to work. by the end of the day i had heard the "it must be free" line so many times that my fake giggle turned into the "youre not funny" smirk. my soul died that day.
Phyllis saw the opportunity when bob was joking about boxing
She went for it
If I only had a Million dollars for everytime someone said that crap.
Love your content, amazing acting and you put obvious effort in your videos. it's not corny and always makes me smile/laugh. Thank you for being you!
Never been this early! Merry Christmas or happy holidays everyone
Early Squad!
There should be a scene where Phyllis is on her own, ordering a glass of champagne because she finally killed bob.
This guy is so good with all his vids. I waited tables for 15 plus years and I heard them all too. Plus down south then asking y’all got some sweet tea back there is my fav.
haven’t laughed this hard in a long long time! your character portrayal, demeanor, mannerisms everything just bang on keep up the good work man
I love the wife expressions! She is so tired and her husband has now clue😂😂😂
“Make sure she gets the bill or someone named Bill.” Epic!
LMAO... Love your videos, keep 'em coming!
Merry Christmas
Thank you so much for including him embarrassing his daughter, lolol that was fantastic
Thank you for the entertainment, Drew! Happy 2022!
This is great! I can rewind the best lines for bateau of having to watch a short on endless loop! More compilations, please 🕊 thanks, Drew ☮️
Poor Phyllis, just questioning her life choices & waiting to die 🤣😂🤣
So happy I found this channel!
This both entertaining and painful, does that make me a masochist?
It makes you perfectly human
@@DrewTalbert Merry Christmas fellow perfect human from internet stranger
You always nail all of your skits. Thank you for making making us laugh.
Thank you for watching
You are incredible!!!!! Love your videos! Thanks!
Always love the..."Well, I didn't order THAT!!" when you bring the check....
I used to love these little interactions with customers, it's like if we both deliver the scripted lines well, they'd laugh and I'd get paid. Now I'll occasionally just deadpan my server with a real answer and see if they respond off script to break through the b.s.
Love your videos, Drew! Your characters are always spot on!
OMG this brings memories back - what about when you greet the table for the first time & ask what you can get them & they say “I’ll have YOU”🙄
I can watch any one of your shorts endlessly but trying to watch this one cringes me to death. Ur commitment to your characters is so impressive
I love your videos, I think servers should be up there with frontline workers, and should be paid more. Keep making us laugh, and Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year 😄
You’re so funny I love your content wishing you all the best
I felt my soul leave my body as I watched this, so...great work.
My dad never says shit, just makes closed mouth sound.. which I love. I like it sometimes.
This will NEVER not get old! I love you!
Phyllis needs SEVERAL cocktails!!
I’ve only been waitressing a few months and I heard all of the jokes from part 1 and 2.
I’ve been in the service industry for over a decade and love your channel.. so funny and relatable!
A good skit for you would be while you’re taking a payment the customer complains about the moneris (debit/credit machine) while entering in their pin# and says “they really should make all of these things the same everywhere”
I do declare I have watched all his videos Twice at least. Thank you for the entertainment .😍
Thank you!
@@DrewTalbert 😊
the wife looking at the husband is so accurate. but we play along because we know he probably is paying for the meal and is the one tipping
Bro you made the is just to laugh with yourself!! Haha I love them!
Wife role was awesome 🤩😝🤣
another banger from drew talbert
im putting this on my blog
Phyllis reaction is hilarious
Thanks drew u make us laugh all the time
Oh, this hits far to close to home...
You know i wish I had that much confidence 😂😂 if I didn’t get crippling social anxiety every time I opened my mouth I might crack a joke once in a while
If someone said, “Uh, yeah. What’s the meaning of life? Haha.” I’d say deadpan “42.”
I used to be like her, completely embarrassed about my dad making stupid jokes with strangers. Now that he’s very old, I cherish them and laugh along with him.
Good work man.... Deserved million viewers
Poor Phyllis 😂 must be a neverending nightmare
Phyllis is barely hanging in there😭
Phyliss is slowly contemplating divorce
For every person that says this is painful to watch you have one person that loves hubby/dad puns. I am that person! Keep them coming Drew! :)
Phyllis just kills me
😅😅 his horrified wife though. All too relatable.
Imma try get through all of these jokes next time I'm at a restaurant.
phyllis is everything here
This should be MANDATORY for every customer to watch.
Phyllis "he gets it off Facebook!"
The “I hope it’s decaf, it better be” hits so close to home I got that way to often and just to be an asshole I would bring them regular if they wanted a refill
"You dont wanna see her driving on a creme brulee 🤣🤣🤣"
"Well I still would like to see the list 😒"
Phyllis's side remakes keep me cracking up
I have a guy that comes in to our restaurant and every time there happens to be a diner with a baseball cap on. On his way to the counter to pick up his carry-out, he will stop at the table with the baseball cap and with no introduction say to the guy "Anyone ever tell you your hat's name is William?" Every time he gets met with confused looks and then he says "Grab ahold of the front. What do you have there? A bill. Bill is short for William." ... That's the whole joke.
I'm glad the jokes I use are not featured in this video. My favorite: "Would you like sweetener?" "Nope lemon, I like it bitter and sour like my waiters"
“He gets them off Facebook” Phyllis just called him out there.
