Hell yeah! The best evil batman I've read is definitely the Nemesis Reloaded series! I even heard rumors about a Nemesis movie in the works. I'll admit, I'm hyped!

Funny enough, Nemesis is tame regarding Mark Millar's trademark edginess. One of his earlier works, The Unfunnies, was so edgy and mean-spirited that Millar outright refuses to acknowledge it, regretting ever writing it.

I know not everyone loves The Batman Who Laughs because isn't really complex. But I just his design and I love voicing that character it's so fun to do. Roger Creaige Smith is Voicing him in two video games and I think he's great!!!
One thing Iâll say is that The Batman Eho Laughs has a legendary design. Seriously whoever came up with it deserves some kind of grand prize.

With Laughs' design, it really does remind me a lot of Lord Of Darkness Undertaker, from late 90s WWE, with the attire he'd wear to the ring during his entrance.

I think Justice Lord Batman was the closest to convincing him to turn evil, but he failed the test.
Batman wanted to see two things before he made a decision:
1.) what methods do they use?
2.) do they hold themselves to their own standards?
The Justice Lords failed both because they were willing to use extreme measures and because they didn't hold themselves to their own rules.

The problem with making a character evil, overpowered or the best there is in your comic book universe is that people will want more and the characters attributes will get boring the longer they exist. Whatâs the next level for Superman after fans gets bored with the most overpowered Superman? The constant need to elevate, the more you have to come up with ingenious ways to portray the characters. Itâs never ending as long as the characters exist. Itâs best to start off slow and weak and work your way up through the years.
That monologue from The dark Knight especially because it's voiced by Peter Weller will always go hard as fuck
Batman creating Brother Eye, that's very Orwellian of him, and preparing secret contingency plans for all the League members, that sounds like secret shadow government type stuff you'd see in Deus Ex.
Batman is on the the very tip top of creating an Orwellian society if weren't for his darn human side keeping his actions in check.
@@WarpingFist At the end of the day, he is just an insane schizo, and it's he who should be very wary of and untrusting by his teammates, and should be kept on a 24/7 surveillance watch for any crazy shit he does, especially breaking his team's trust by making contingencies against them in secret, so that none of the esoteric shit he does remains in the shadows without his team's foreknowledge of it. That way, they can create their own countermeasures against his contingencies, and their own contingencies against him, with triple countermeasures against his own in case he is a few steps ahead. Or, basically, just straight up ban him from the League after finding this shit out, and betraying their trust.

Grim Knight sounds like he's basically Punisher but with Batman's intelligence and resources. Which is terrifying if you think about it.
My 2 favorite evil Batman's is Owlman and Flashpoint Batman. Out of all Evil Batmen Owlman is his own person and when talkin about blowin up prime earth to destroy the multi verse proves he's better than any other evil batman including the Batman who laugh who killed in the comics. It doesn't matter nothin matters cause another version of him will pick another choice.

My understanding is that in the comic Russian Batman did give them time to evacuate but the movie didn't include that part.

The issue is that Superman has no evil counterpart written well at all. Batman has some that are pretty good. Owlman is goated, Prometheus is also underrated, wrath and scorn are also interesting, BWL is not for everyone, Failsafe is alright. Superman has no evil side half as interesting, they are all trash. Azrael is also interesting.
The issue is that they shouldn't become oversaturated in media.

It's been a long time since I read Tower of Babel so I might be wrong but there's something you failed to mention, Batman's contingency plans were meant to be non-lethal, however the villains that stole his plans reconfigured them into the messed up torture traps instead.
I re-read Tower of Babel again due to your comment and I can't recall reading anything about Ra's tweaking the plans to be more lethal. In fact, there's sections of the comic which detail the contingency's and they're exactly the same as the ones we see inflicted on the league members. I believe the adaptation, 'Justice League Doom' is the story in which the plans are made to be more lethal and not the comic. Although, I may have missed something.
@@WarpingFist I haven't read the book in a really long time. I'm probably recalling the JL: Doom adaptation where Batman does state his main intentions before they were corrupted.
@@TONYGILLEY Yeah, I think that's the case. I thought The contingency's were tweaked before I read Babel just like in Doom, so I was surprised when I found out it wasn't the case.
I hate evil Batman as much as I hate evil Superman, which is to say a lot. Let the characters just be the characters!
Nemesis comics are actually interesting. I like how the first comic series show Nemesis as some bored rich guy who decided to become a villain and cause chaos. Second being like Joker also makes him interesting.
Iâd say I dislike the first comic for that very reason. He's such a shallow character whose actions are so horrid that you cannot justify what he did, no matter the kind of insanity he possesses. Not even the Joker would pull the type of crap he did. At least the one in the rebooted comic had tangible and believable motivations. Granted, it doesnât justify what he did, but itâs easier to believe in the atrocities he's committing. Itâs similar to the Joker, as you said.

The way they present Batman in comics as borderline unstoppable because heâs just soooo smart and soooo skilled honestly makes no goddamn sense and has never made any sense. Shit is impossible to take seriously and suffers the same flaws making flash impossibly fast suffers from, itâs completely unrealistic to the point that itâs not even realistic within the comic rules. Itâs also completely unnecessary as Batman in previous adaptions was never this dominant, he was just a very intelligent detective who was good at fighting and deployed stealth very often as a means to avoid fights he canât win. Just look at the Batman animated series from the 90âs. Thatâs a more accurate representation of Batman than anything weâve seen in comics for the last 20 years.
Batman isnât dangerous at all. Characters just donât use their powers when they fight him.

In Justice League Doom yeah but I must remember if it's the same in the comic. Some sections of the comic show diagrams of Batman's data on the Justice League and the countermeasures he's thought up, and basically, all of them are what you see inflicted onto the Justice League. So I don't believe Ra's made them more messed up in Tower of Babel. At least, that's what I recall.
I hate how they turned the alien Batman into another murder Batman. They need to bring back the og.
I guess when it came to him, that was the only way they could explain his existence when you try to canonize the older comics.

Evil batman seems as dumb as evil superman because it feels like an excuse for heros to fight eachother for powerscaling reasons. Seeing a evil batman doesnt work because he faced trauma and why woukd a victim of trauma inflcited that same trauma onto others
It is actually really common for people with trauma to wind up inflicting that same trauma onto others.
