- Saturday 22nd June 2024 saw the annual Armed Forces Day parade through Edinburgh City Centre take place.

Amazing, loved it. 5 Years ago i was 10 years old marching in my first ever parade, and now 5 years later again and about to join the Army! Thank you for filming also.

Jim...I may be mistaken, but...front row, r-l young lady...I am sure I saw her in one of the Pipe Bands last hear playing the pipes.

Got to say ... a major disappointment! RRSMB are great but in previous years at least we had two pipe bands too. Cutbacks?

Sorry forgot to ask, does anyone know the next up and coming few parades in Edinburgh? Or even performances from Pipes and Drums etc.
Yes, 1-4th July Holyrood Guard Changes, probably 8.15am like last month. King arrives and ceremony of the keys is good, not sure of date but soon. The election has had a knock on effect.
And 10am at the castle too for those guard changes (esplanade so free)

@@maxFABC Has been in the past, usually 8:15am Holyrood and 10:00am Edinburgh castle. I know 2 SCOTS Pipes, Drums & Bugles are doing Holyrood
