There's also InvisShield. But it is more involved and requires eyeballing the application. It's literally more DIY. Only advantage over Whitestone is they offer more variety and are generally cheaper.

Im using a otterbox defender but they no longer come with a built in screen protector so I had to buy external plastic one. Sadly it seems to bubble. Been through three this week. Will this screen protector work with a case like the otterbox defender? Im clumsy so need that extra protection

Perfect installation! I bought one for my Note 8 and followed all the steps. The screen protector itself went on pretty much flawless but for some reason the liquid spread over the edges. I wasn't too happy about that. Great job here nonetheless.

@@bradhaines3142 The oleophobic coating stays on longer, better visibility, doesn't chip on the corners, no rainbow effects, easy to remove if needed. I could go on but having used these on several phones, I wouldn't use anything else 👍

@@DaveWestMedia yeah this video is the first time I've seen these, personally i spend like 6$ on 3 screen protectors and change them out about every month when they get too cracked. decent clarity, never have it long enough to have an issue with the coating and theyre good enough quality to not rainbow like ive seen on some.

Man, I thought it was going to ship on the 24th, but when I checked the UPS tracking, it said out for delivery TODAY. Good thing, I'm home to receive it.
Flossy my man, I bought this screen protector based on this video. Let me advise you that if something can be screwed up I am your gal. I got a few tiny bubbles but chased them over the edge befure curing. Once cured it was time to remove my phone from the frame. Oh those little white things your said were optional I opted out of mostly because I couldn't figure out where they actually fit in. Back to removing my phone from the frame. It wouldn't budge. I finally had to get a table knive to work my phone out of the frame! In the process all that leftover adhesive went every where! I spend time making sure it was removed from my hands and my phone before the final curing. Now that I have finally gotten to screen protector on and things cleaned up I am VERY HAPPY with the final results. It just didn't go on flawlessly like yours did.

I remember back in the day when i first found Floss's channel (note 4 days i think) and he's just whip the plastic off a glass screen protector and slap that bad boy on in seconds. now you have to build some IKEA furniture to get your glass all lined up, thou this thing is cool as hell and nice to have a screen protector with rounded edges that doesn't have just a thin strip of glue around just the edge. a go for sure, thanks Flossy!

Will the dust get stuck to the edges of the screen protector with this whitestone tempered glass? That's the problem i have with the ones i bought, they have to come off eventually I can't deal with that.
It's loca glue so it is stronger than your average adhesive on other screen protectors, you do it right it's the best investment you can make, yes you do hear when others had problems with it and thats because of human error, they wont admit it but it's true, when you install it take your time and it will be worth it

Who would have thought screen protectors would evolve to require this kind of installation. We are talking about a UV curable bonding adhesive similar to the compounds used today in dental restorations. Pretty sophisticated. I wonder how long the protector will last and how difficult it is to remove if you need to replace it. What I think everyone wants to know is if the cat can do the procedure now! so i got this off amazon and it came in tonight. turned on this video to make sure im doing it correctly, i dropped the screen protector onto the adhesive and it splattered in my eye a bit, i don't even know how it happened, but it burned so fing bad, i rinsed my eye out for like 10 minutes, but i continued with the install and it ended up looking beautiful! thanks for the recommendation floss!

Good video. I have this on a note8 and s9+. Screen looks cleaner than others. Also with the loca it stays in place. Others I've had wouldn't even stay on long. Don't go naked, just look like it.

the adhesive scared the crap outta me when i put it on my screen, coz it rolled down quite a bit unlike ur one lol, also it spread to the outside of my screen and into the buttons and the speaker hole. luckily i was able to clean it before it was hardened...

What happens when/if you want to take the screen protector off? Does the adhesive come off with it or will it be all gluey and sticky? Also, what's the advantage of this vs just a regular old school sticky back screen protector that you just slap on?
The screen protector does come off relatively easy. Just pick it up slowly from each side. As for advantages, it provides more sensitivity due to the glue being spread all over unlike normal one just having glue on top and bottom while having air gap in between.

@@CPUGaming Yes. The adhesive remains on the protector, not the phone.
As having to handle a chipped and shattered Whitestone Dome glass, I can say the adhesive also keeps the glass from breaking apart. You do have to be very careful peeling it off though as the glass is already compromised. The glue stays on the back of the protector. Even if some residue is left behind, alcohol will clean it up.
Last question. In every video I see, the glue spreads to the sides of the phone. How is that not causing any problems? Even with those absorption pads, it still looks like a problem.
