Most who are questioning why she is on the list don't understand Mariahs voice is very unique they may not hear but us lambs do. Mariah has sung many genres of music with skill and musicianship. Her well placed, precise vocal runs are unmatched. Mariah has delivered some of the most baffling, complex, intricate, superhuman vocal lines I've ever heard. Mariah, along with Whitney set the bar for pop vocals so high that we haven't seen another Mariah since. in addition to her extraordinary songwriting skills and her knack for creating memorable timeless music Mariah's voice is one in a million. She has given Gospel vocals, R&B vocals, Soul, Jazz, Country, Rock, Pop, hip hop, etc. All with prowess and ease. Her musical knowledge and her ability to adapt to multiple sounds comfortably puts her in a class with very few others. Anyone who doesn't get why she's on the list needs to do their homework on the queen.

People are so jealous of Mariah that they refuse to accept her as a respected artist like Whitney or even Mary J. Blige. If anyone today heard any artist sing this song just like Mariah they would say OMG. That voice is amazing. Goes viral. But, since it’s Mariah they say “ oh she don’t sing like that anymore “. Why even say that? Straight up hater. I’ve always seen how different the public treated Mariah since 1995 compared to her peers. But, at the end of the day Mariah Carey is GOAT in not just Pop, R&B, Hip Hop, Christmas but, Gospel too. Not a lot of her peers can have that title. So, to me Mariah will always be the greatest EVER!💯🙏🏾👸🏾.
The 90's Mariah is by far the greatest thing happened to contemporary music in my humble opinion. For me nothing comes close. I sometimes fear that I will stuck to the bubble she has created and never leave which is a frightening thought. These days I mostly listen to classical music and I know that I'm not going to deviate from it until the last breath of my life on earth. The only one who is pulling me back to listen to a contemporary music is Mariah. That's how powerfull her songs are.

Its difficult to imagine who can match the majesty and beauty of Mariah's abilities. It's a frightening thought when you think about it. She raised the ceiling to a height that seems unreachable by any who came before and after her. That how good she is, no escaping that.
